I'm arriving at the party rather late, so my comments are sort of "what she said" "what he said"! Heartwarming and poignant.

A very cute, enjoyable story...well written. Hope we'll be seeing more stories from you.

It has been said that authors are providing free stories, and really don't owe much to the readers. I can't tell you how much I disagree. I am not an author, but I am an avid reader. IMHO if you are going to post a story, on whichever site you choose, you aren't doing it just to read yourself are you? You obviously want me and whomever to enjoy the fruits of your labour, and once we're hooked you OWE it to us to continue. If you can't, then send a simple message telling us that. At least that would stop me searching for a reason why, getting frustrated, and typing nasty messages on a tablet with one finger!

As I've said before, I don't review very often. One reason is that (on my PC) I am a very proficient keyboardist, but am reduced to tapping (on my iPad where I do my reading) letters very slowly with my pinky. So I limit myself to reviewing stories that I REALLY enjoy. Well now that doesn't sound very good because ALL the stories I choose to read I obviously enjoy. I have a tendency (when reviewing) to try to be humorous. Not sure if the authors like that, but I do heap praise where due. I have only given one rather vitriolic review (which I deeply regret)because of the inordinate length of time between chapters. I would like to say that if you want to emulate a good reviewer, then Lisa is my choice. I enjoy reading her reviews almost as much as the story itself! Now I have a cramp in my pinky.

AAAARRRRGH!! A great response to a prompt, BUT...you CAN'T leave me hanging like this? I want to know that Toby will want back in and Joel will send him off with his tail between his legs; I want to know Joel will find the man of his dreams, and smash the coffee cup to smithereens. Wait...did I just finish your story?? As always, great writing.

Oh wow.....just..WOW! Great, great chapter. I find myself singing (to the tune of Mack the Knife) "look out old Brad is back!!". God it was lovely to hear Robbie again, even if it was only a figment of Brad's hallucination. I really miss him in the story. I don't think Wade's mother will know what hit her! So...have we discovered who The Black Widow is??? Now to wait for the next action packed chapters, which, of course, Mark is going to post RIGHT AWAY!! (he he he) Thanks Mark and team...I like all the CAP stories, but this one ranks as one of the very best.

Well, SkinnyD! This chapter is living up to expectations. Poor David really isn't playing games, IMHO. He is trying to survive teen angst. I think it will be up to Twoey to unravel the tangled web of David's mind! Keep 'em coming!

I just KNEW I was going to enjoy this story. You know, your writing style is reminiscent of Comsies...not a carbon copy but similar. I mean that as a sincere compliment. I have a feeling (probably a bit serendipitously) that this Mike will eventually see the error of his ways. Can't wait to see how the thing with David and Twoey will play out! Really good job!

An excellent, very well written letter. I agree with Lisa...you should send this to Caitlynn. Being the age I am, and straight, I feel so very sorry for the pain gays and transgendered people suffered during the "hating" decades of the nineteen hundreds! With the Supreme Court legalizing gay marriage, the next step is to stop the bigoted right-wing religionists!

I first reviewed your story after reading chapters 1 & 2. I told you then that I thought the story showed promise, and you have not let me down! I like the way you write...I only wish, purely selfishly of course, that you could post the chapters more often. From how you replied to Robert Rex's review, I gleaned that in real life Carl and you are not together now, but that fictionally you may be? I sure hope so. If indeed you did not have a HEA, I think that is sad. On the other hand, I'm looking forward very much to reading the rest of your story. Keep those chapters coming!

A really good chapter! You more than made up for the ending of "Summer"! Looking forward to more chapters, and to reading about the comeuppance of those cops! It's a shame that cops like that spoil the reputation of the good ones.

Oh Mr. Arbour! I think this new CAP story seems to have rejuvenated you, as I sense lots more energy embedded in the story. Well done, as usual. So what...updates every four days??

I am hooked on Morgan, and McNally. Scribe's passing was a big loss. I pestered and prodded Morgan, and finally (!) he replied, and in essence told me the muse had left him. I wish he would reconsider and finish 52 Panhead. I love the way McNally writes. Like you I hope he continues when LOTR 5 Years On is done. I really enjoyed Summer, didn't particularly like the ending, but am hopeful you will redeem yourself with Autumn.

I like your story, and if the first two chapters are any indication, it shows great promise. Can't wait to read more!

Clara - I write very few reviews myself. I enjoy reading everyone else's. I do, however, spread a lot of "likes" around. Whilst waiting for updates, I buy a lot of favourite authors from Kobo, Dreamspinners, Kindle etc. but no stories enthrall me like Mr. Arbour's. So although there are many other authors on GA that I enjoy, this hiatus is costing me bags of money :-{ I sincerely hope, Mark, that you emerge from this "slamming" relatively unscathed. Hang in there!!

I think I'm going to really enjoy this story if the first chapter is anything to go by. I do want to know what happened with Jamie.

Just wonder in'! How often do you plan to post updates? I just want to plan my tv viewing and GA reading for the next few years. At my age, you see, time is of the essence. Of course it goes without saying that priority will ALWAYS be given to CAP and Valiant.

It really is a damn shame. You write so well, but you get yourself caught up in SO many stories you can hardly complete just ONE! Do you really think you do well by your readers? Just like SO many of your stories, this one started in 2010. 2010 for gods sake! And no end in sight. I really can't take it. I'm outta here. I'll check back in 2018 to see how far you've gotten (if I'm still alive!)

Yes, another excellent chapter. I hesitate to critique an author of your calibre, but I'm pretty sure it should be "toeing the line" not "towing". Forgive me...I know not what I do!!!

I literally sobbed for Jimmy. What a wrenching chapter in Billy's life. I hope it was all worth it, and that he and Brandon survive this.

I am so very happy that my two favourite characters have decided to both grow up, and profess their undying love for one another. And I'm absolutely ecstatic that Alex was kicked to the "kerb"! Can't wait to see what's next for our happy little band! Thanks so much for the great story.

Yet another really good chapter, Mark. I can't help likening the Matt, Wade, Alex triangle to the Brad, Robbie, Neil situation in Man in Motion. Alex, IMHO, reminds me a lot of Neil - same haughty attitude. Wade is very similar to Robbie, although he doesn't seem to be as bulied as Robbie was by Neil. I'm really a lot more hopeful of a happy Matt/Wade ending than I was at the beginning of Flux. Roll on 44 & 45, and then what surprises have you got for us??
