  1. CJ & Owen as drag queens. Hmmmm!
  2. This was a really fun chapter. Many sides of CJ were shown. The savvy politician, the surprised innocent (who me?), the jokester, the loving husband, polite, never shy, considerate, etc. I admire him, but I doubt I could keep up with him. Once again, Owen is the rock and the soil CJ thrives in. And, even though she's hundreds of miles away, Liebe managed to sneak herself into the story.🙂

    The Busker

    Your intention was fully realized.

    The Busker

Very well written. You made Mitch come alive and full-bodied.

    Clams & Weed

Squad members play minimal roles in this story. Instead CJ increased the next layer of his circle (the semi-inner circle?), making quick decisions to bring people in who he has just met. (I think Paul is the only one he knew beforehand among the people he shared the Mexico details with.) The speed almost reminds me of how quickly he bonded with Harley. At the same time, he intentionally augmented the outer circle of people who can support his political aims.

    Clams & Weed

Today turned into one of those days that got hijacked and ended up full of things I didn't plan on. What a delight to finally get to read the latest CJ chapter at 9:30pm. It was a cleanser for my mind and worries. It's interesting to see the networking going on by the rich and powerful, making plans for CJ behind his back, which help clear the path for CJ political ambitions.

    Chapter 12

Swift is the villain. He has powers like Jase's but uses them for evil uses -- like Phillip warned Jase. Swift is the one who took Macy and is using his power to prevent Jase from sensing her. That's why he was so upset when Lucas took Macy from the house where he murdered her parents.

    The Story

I chose the sadness icon because the story mirrors how so many relationships are, the two people not really knowing each other, and not really communicating.

    TSJ Chapter 2

Shazaam, Zac needs a super hero to appear.
  10. ROFL. Thank you for this uplifting ditty.
  11. I've never been to Rio. Is that what the photo is of, do you know?
  12. I never registered this line by the backup singers before: "copa, banana" 🤪
  13. Delightful, from start to finish.
  14. What fun chapter this was! It was a pleasure to hang with Spike again. He's not the stereotype of a CIA agent when with friends. Very different from his persona during the Mexican incident. You are a superb writer in so many ways. I liked the way you to subtly showed us different types of relationships. "CJ acquiesced to his husband’s request. Whatever made Owen happy worked for him." "David reached for Stephanie’s hand and gave it a soft squeeze. Stephanie inched closer to her husband and pecked his cheek." "Paul said: "I ran away. Guys, I’m so gonna be a saint for the rest of my life. I don’t ever want to see [Molly] upset with me like that." "Mrs. Fanning called him a ride and sent him home with orders to be moved out by Sunday when she returned.
  15. Based on Beauty and the Beast? I must have fallen asleep during the Disney movies because I don't remember the sex. 😁 "The Fear of Fairies and Other Fairy Tales" series has been delightful. And this story continues the delight you're giving readers.

    Chapter 7

What is going on? The mystery and tension increases with each chapter. Interesting well-drawn characters. The world really needs the message Macy espoused.
  17. Jackman & Sutton Foster 😃😃
  18. Here's the link to their calendar for that month. https://54below.com/calendar/?month=August+2022
  19. I just watched the livestream of Patti Lupone singing song after song for 90 minutes at 54 Below cabaret in NYC. The second act was reading about CJ and the antics that surround him wherever he and Owen go. A great start to 2023. Happy New Year, Carlos.
  20. It's a sad situation for Molly. The bride's father usually gives her away (seems sort of barbaric to me, the transferring of ownership from the father to the husband), but it looks like Mr. F won't be up to it.
  21. I'm experiencing time warp vertigo again. I just read about that, so it's already happened for me. But it's year to go before it will happen for CJ and Ritch. My head's spinning.
  22. Very enjoyable story!

    Una's Children

This chapter dipped into the Oedipus cycle. If you include the whole cycle, the final chapter will a bloody one.

    Una's Children

Did you snuck in a little King Lear to the mix this story is made up from? The minister decided to test their education by commanding them to show how well they wrote. "Write an essay on how well you love me," he instructed the youths. "Twenty-five words or less." Dymon wrote, "I love you neither more nor less than a son should. I love you like bread loves salt." The minister was not pleased with this answer. "What kind of answer is this? Cold and ungrateful, and then nonsensical. I had thought to divide this kingdom and give you half. Now you shall have none of it. Leave here at once; you are no longer my son."
