Emoe!!! Awww, what a thing to say about shy and quiet me.... Speaking of things... I've seen no comments regarding what The Scar and Dimitri are up to in this chapter... So I need to ask; was it clear? Or was I too vague? BTW, I do research the technical details, so it's accurate, right down to the natural radioactivity of Granite. As an interesting side-note, the radioacivity from granite is enough to give a higher level of background radiation in New York's Grand Central Station (a granite building) than would be allowable in most workspaces in a nuclear power plant.

Shameful, shameful! That is unfair to deprive a goat of the internet... I'd have thought that an Echidna would be more sympathetic on this issue.

Well, now every main character except Brandon and Chase knows its mutual. LoL. But, remember, the story timeline is less than a week since they met. That, however, will be speeding up a bit soon. By the time Brandon and Chase figure it out, maybe they'll be too old to do anything about it? Awww, but Camy, the chapter title was quite correct; there was a kiss. Ack! But I'd look horrible in feathers! Thanks!!! Hmmm, should I mention that, prior to some major editing in response to Ieshwar's threat to stop calling me a lurker, things went a little differently... But I had to delete the kiss between Brandon and Chase and the huge sex scene it led to, and have The Scar and Dimitri kiss instead. Nah, I probably shouldn't mention that.... Thanks LC!!!

Hrmmm, Graeme, do you have goats? If so, I do hope you treat them properly? And James, thank you for your suggestion for a name... I love it, and with a slight change to Capricans, I really love it. It's a single word, pluralizes easily, and I like it. I'll try to pull a few strings and see if I can get it on the runoff poll.

I spoke with a real-life band manager about this story, and I know a little about the movie industry, so I basically tried to put the pieces togeter. Also, I'm getting advice from my team, and doing some searching. Fixed the link, thanks! Rats, you got to it first. Lol. Now, yes, there was indeed a kiss, as demanded! Can't say I didn't try to please... However, as for anything between Chase and Brandon, I couldn't! Ieshwar threatened my lurker status if I did... They did hold hands though! So, as I see it, for anyone not entirely pleased with Chase and Brandon's advancing romance, we have two choices; Blame Ieshwar or Blame Shadowgod.

Conner, I think it is safe to say that Aillie has seriously diminished his chances of receiving that highest of literary awards, the Goat good seal of approval? Grumble Grumble... Murderer... The rest of the chapter was great... I'm still waiting to see where, exactly, that kiss leads. I have three guesses; Anyon fell asleep before Bran got there and is dreaming. Bran is just trying to get him "involved". It's some other form of sneaky misdirection... Oh, and BTW, I am officially declaring this chapter's ending to be a CLIFFHANGER!

Oops! I was going on a picture I saw in an "International Male" catalog, probably ten years ago; a very short pair of shorts, and they did have laces (Drawstring in a ziz-zag pattern) at the front, and they were called "Aussie" Ummm, Aussie something... I thoguht it was football shorts.. maybe rugby? I'll see if I can find an example of what I meant... Thanks!!!! And that breakfast scene was fun. So too, was the kiss.

Yep, those eeeeevil cliffhangers. I mean really, he can even turn the question of "what flavor of lemonade" into a cliffhanger! Given the sense of humor many of his fans have (though surely not I ) of us have, the term "Smartasses" comes immediately to mind for a name.

I absolutely adored this chapter! That "ride to the brothel" had me in stitches once I knew. My initial reaction was that it would be very out-of-character for Bobby to agree (though only a slight stretch for a couple of the others) so I figured it was real. Also, good thinking on the age limits; that is very realistic; I've seen it happen in real life. Shane came through, he's great! I also think that Bobby and Cindy have a LOT in common. I am very curious what was whispered between Alex and Jamie regarding the ride, though i can guess. LoL However, the situation with the tree looks grim...

But is Charles Manson sufficiently evil to be in Shadowgod's class? I think not!

:o :o Aillie, how could you? OTHER than that , this is an excelent chapter. Anyon does display a lack of knowledge (the fear that a fire will draw 4-footed predators) and it comes off really well. The camping scenes were fun and well done, and the dog, "Spaniel", was a very nice touch. I'm really intrigued to see what will happen between Anyon and Bran. If you are particularly evil and devious, that kiss might be very misleading.

Just to be difficult, let me ask this: Shouldn't that be CJ's Kidds as oppsed to Kids?

She doesn't stock DVD's, calls 'em "Newfangled, complicated crap". I do have a DVD player though, got it last year. I just haven't much use for it. LoL Bear in mind that her "movie store" in an alcove the size of a walk-in closet off a small general store that she owns. I'm pretty sure that she has under 200 titles, total, and most of 'em Disney type stuff. She won't carry anything above a PG rating anyway. She gets away with it becuase she's the only rental place for an hour's drive in every direction. They've got a blockbuster video store in another town, but that's well over an hour's drive each way for me, so I rarely use it. They do have DVD's though. In fact, I think they went all DVD this year.
