Ditto. BTW, I am SO in love with this story!
-
Gee, that's a hard one! Probably Ball sports - solely because those AFL players are so hot Subtitled or dubbed films

I owe a lot to Desertmac as he helped me through a difficult period of my life, both through his fantastic story and a fairly regular email exchange I had with him. We've unfortunately since lost touch, but he indeed is still writing. He is a very wise man and an excellent writer, and I whole-heartedly recommend this story.

No need to apologise, Graeme. Just glad you're still motoring ahead. And here's hoping that it's good life that has interfered and not bad life.
-
Woot! Congrats Graeme, it's truly deserved.

Graeme, I'm not usually the type of reader to badger an author about when the next chapter of their story will hit the intra-web, but the wait for Part 3 of this wonderful story is absolutely killing me. Any idea as to when the next chapter will be out? I think I'll be happy with even a rough ball park figure here - anything to stop me from feverishly waiting for every Sunday morning for Awesomedude to be updated. I'll be eternally yours... Alex

I don't know you and I certainly don't think I have the right to comment, but my stubborness/noseyness seems to take the lead sometimes... But I don't get how removing your story has any connection to someone (stupidly) trying to access your YouTube account. Seems a bit unfair to those who are part way through your story and those who haven't gotten round to reading it yet, though had every intention to (i.e. me). I'm happy to be flamed for this. Alex

C.R.A.Z.Y.
acassimaty commented on CarlHoliday's blog entry in Melancholy ... the broken staff of life
C.R.A.Z.Y. has to be my favourite film of the past year. I managed to see it three times in the cinema and loved every moment. I'd definitely try seeing it again as it's a great film and there's a lot more there than just the 'gay' aspects of the film. Family is just as strong a theme through the film and the father-son relationship is the centrepiece of the film. Plus. you're right - Marc-Andre is so damn hot. Hope you have/had a great Christmas Alex -
Merry Christmas to everyone here in my new favourite home! Hope it's everything you wish it to be!!!!

Oh, I love that song. Had completely forgotten about. Thanks for the reintroduction. Gonna miss you round here, Kevin, if you disappear. I've loved reading about the goings on in your life for the short time I've been visiting this place. And it was your blog that inspired me to write my own which has been fun so far. Anyway, all the best for the future, Merry Christmas Alex

If you want something a little different, fresh and definitely original I'd try Graeme's Heart of the Tree over at AwesomeDude. Although the story is not complete as it has only reached the end of the second of three parts, it's at a point where you'd be completely satisfied if you never read another word.

Congrats on the hair! Radical change is always good. Love, love love love that My Chemical Romance album too (as evidenced by my last blog entry). I love the energy of 'The Sharpest Lives'. For some reason though, I misheard a lyric, (which is kinda easy to do), so cause I love all the poison, away with the boys in the band, became cause I love all the boys and away with boys in the band. The song takes on a whole new meaning that way, (ie the line so why don't you blow me ), but alas... On another note - I used to RSS your blog and now it just keeps coming up with cannot load. Yet Dom's one works fine. Anyone know what's up with that?

Woot! 5000 points for me! Haha Another great blog Kevin! Twas confusing with the managers and stuff. I spose you're in an area that you're gay until proven otherwise, so your assumption makes sense. I agree with you on Revenge of the Sith. Definitely the better of the new ones - simply for the lesser amount of wooden acting by Hayden Christiansen. He's cute, but damn he's a sucky actor. I've seen the first 10 mins of Another Gay Movie and actually surprised myself by laughing a couple of time. It's completely over-the-top and camp as a row of tents (as my father would say) but kinda enjoyable. I should get round to watching the rest of it, but who knows when I'll have the time with my new job (don't get my started...) I think you should definitely hold off on those QAF. What's the point of starting 3/5 of the way through a story? I'm one of those people who absolutely can't watch a TV show that I have not seen every single episode up until that point. At least with a serial nature. I'm guilty of watching the odd CSI or ER and I definitely haven't seen every ep and doubt I ever will. Oh, and if your friendly neighbourhood Blockbuster has it, I think you should also check out the British version of QAF. Some say it's better. Personally, I think there's good and bad points about either.

Broken computer. Because I watch most TV on my computer these days anyways. Great job/small wage or bad job/high wage?

I found another one: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2767849/1/ is part of this story http://www.myeroticstory.net/erotic-storie...two-sugars.html I couldn't find any contact information on that site.

Definitely not right. This is the one thing that sux about free postings on the net. We've already lost one great author (Sara Bell) to this kind of travesty. Good to see it should be stopped in its tracks. I'm not sure if the guy's more stupid for copying the work, or thinking he'd get away with it.

Hey Kevin, Thanks for putting me in great spirits before I go to sleep tonight. Your optimism is a great thing and I hope it sticks with you. I think we'd all agree that optimism is definitely needed in today's world. Anyway take care Alex PS I'd say go for the Christian! Think of all the corrupting you could do! Lol

Hey guys! Thanks for all your suggestions! So glad uni finishes in a week, looks like I have plenty to do OMG, can't believe I forgot about this one. Would have added it to my list above had I remembered it. Definitely a great read. Even its ending. -
Recommended college-based stories
acassimaty replied to acassimaty's topic in Stories Discussion Forum
OMG, Graeme thinks I have great taste! I'm honoured. That means a lot coming from someone I respect so much, so, ah, thanks Human Condition is definitely one of my favourite stories ever and really worth the read, even though it flirts with plausibility, or lack of rather, at one stage. Similar Differences (which I only started (and finished) yesterday), I found compelling not necessarily because of the story, which isn't bad by any means, but the author's ability to create such beautiful imagery. (PS Loved the latest chapter of Heart of the Tree. Damn Matt for being so stubborn!! Here's hoping Shane or the Mourton gang can get through to him. ) LMAO. There was still a lot to like about that story! lol Thanks for the recommendations. Will check them out. -
I've kinda gotten a bit sick of high school stories. I've read so many that I kinda get bored by them, so I've turned to reading college-set ones. Plus having moved from high school into university its understandable that I'd be more interested in those sort of stories. So, I thought I'd recommend some with the aim of getting some more suggestions from you fine folk out there! Educating Alex by Ardveche - sweet, romantic, well-written 'Jock becomes gay' story. Reclaiming Austin by Billy TK - ditto. (Not yet finished) The Human Condition by JFinn - again, ditto. Working It Out by GA's Don Hanratty - an epic tale of romance, religion and family. Similar Differences by Rob - superbly well written tale of one's battle with romance. Hope you get joy out of these stories like I did. Please add any you have found! Thanks muchly PS I think I've posted this in the right forum, yes?

Remember: cookies are a 'sometimes' food. Seriously though, if someone was entering my place without my knowledge I'd like to know. Cookies or not. But that's just me. Anyway, hope everything works out for the best.

Wow. Great work Dom! I love the world you managed to create in so few lines. You have a way of making things so vivid in the least amount of words possible, so that the descriptions don't get dull and long-winded just for the sake of being so. And this was a great example of it. Love it!

Can certainly appreciate the worshipping of television, particularly considering I'm currently studying television production and plan to enter the industry. There's definitely some great stuff out there - Battlestar Galactica and Veronica Mars just to name two. Considering that's generally considered one of the worst episodes of Buffy ever and you enjoyed it, then maybe it is for you? Watch from the first series and then try to stop. I dare you. Acass Self-confessed Buffy (and TV) whore.

Good to hear that about OS, but don't work yourself too hard. An exhausted Dom is no good to anybody As for your Mum - I think you have every right to be pissed. Its this contradictory Christian notion of "we still love you, but we've still got to set you on the right path" that really riles me up. They say "remove the plank from your own eye, before the speck in your neighbours" when it suits them, but they still have to interfere. The whole "God is the only one who judges" notion is the same thing. Why can't they follow their own damn teachings instead of changing them for every circumstance?!? Arrggh. Now I know all Christians are not like that. I consider myself one. Its just meddling Christians with a specific agenda that really annoy me. Sorry if I've offended anyone, I wasn't intending to go into rant mode. Good luck with your mum Dom, I hope everything turns out for the best.
