Hello my followers I hope you enjoyed the story - Uncertain Future Stay tuned for a much shorter story - Twin Change Simular to a movie that came out on television a few years ago, but different in many ways. Felix and Finn are twin brothers separated at the age of two years, following the separation of their parents. One twin remained with his mother in the UK, while the other travelled to New Zealand, his fathers home country.

Edward said he would be happy to buy my share of the two units from me, even if I didn’t move, so as to help set me up with a secure financial future, which is the most important thing on my mind, so as to ensure Toby has a good and happy life ahead of him. Four months later, I received word from Mr Fythe, that both the family home and the shop had been sold and the money deposited into the account. He said that even if I don’t return, that he was always happy to serve as my layer whenever

I went upstairs to the bridge to speak to Jasper. “I was expecting you to appear fairly soon. Kirk has already told me,” Jasper said as I appeared beside him. “What do you suggest that we do about it,” I asked Jasper. “Well, let’s pray that we get some really rough weather, and maybe that will encourage the guests not to continue with the voyage,” Jasper said with a wicked grin, and I just laughed. “Oh, yes please. That would be awesome. If I retract the pontoons, will that m

Fifteen minutes later the trio entered the front office, with big smiles on their faces so happy to be together again after such a long time apart. Edward informed me that he was very grateful for organising for him to spend time with his younger siblings, and that he would never forget the chance to hug his little brothers again. Edward said goodbye to his brothers, so as to return to work, promising to see them again real soon, and suggested that they keep this reunion a secret from their gran

Now that I had been formally introduced to all of the residents, I began to settle into a routine, with work at the hardware store till 2pm, 4 days a week. I made sure that I had at least one day off from doing anything, that being Sundays, for the rest of the time I was doing cleaning and maintenance work in the building in the afternoons after work, gradually making the apartment building a lot tidier and refreshed, with the front entry totally repainted, and some more decorating improvements

After paying the $1,342 shopping bill, we pushed the trolleys down to near the beach, and carried the two dozen shopping bags to the dinghy, before setting off back to the yacht. When we arrived, Kirk and Leon where on the swimming platform waiting for us, and helped to bring on board all the shopping. Jasper also arrived to help us get it from the swim platform down to the main galley below. Once that was done, Simon got to work to start planning dinner for 6 guests and 5 crew, while Kirk and L

I helped Simon with the cleaning up of the galley, while Gramps, Isaac and Jasper relaxed upstairs on the fly bridge, where they were in deep discussion of some kind. When Simon and I arrived with a tray of tea and biscuits, they went very quiet. I looked at Simon who just shrugged his shoulders and put the tray down, while I commenced to pour the cups of tea. “So, what’s with all the big secrets?” I asked once I had sat down, with my own cup of tea. Jasper chuckled and smiled. “Not re

Going to the library I designed and printed out 50 invitations; “Dear 401 Grenadier Street resident, you are cordially invited to attend a terrace party at 7pm tonight, location is on the apartment roof terrace, entertainment, refreshments and snacks provided, dress is semi-formal”. Once I had perfected that, I now had two days to organise the event, from the college newspaper, I found an advert for a string quartet, available for social events, and I booked and paid for them to provide live mus

“You and I, Anton, will be doing five hour shifts at the helm, and Simon will do a two-hour shift. Once we are over the continental shelf, we will change course, and head for the middle of Dorre Island, on the eastern side,” Jasper announced. I could see that Simon was about to ask where that is, so I beat him to it. “Shark Bay. Excellent! This is going to be so awesome,” I said with a big smile, and Simon gave me a slight side bump with his shoulder. I just laughed. “How long wil

I watched, as a couple approached an apartment building which looked like it hadn't been very well maintained, and they used a card to open the door. Before they stepped inside, what they didn't realise, but I spotted, was that one of them had dropped the pass card on the ground as they entered the building. When they were clearly out of sight, I cautiously approached the building and picked up the card. Nervously I put the card up to the sensor and it beeped, with a tiny light going from r

Sometime during the night, I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing and vibrating. It took me a few moments to realise that it was the yacht alarm. I shot out of bed like a flash and quickly dressed. A light knock on my cabin door made me jump with fright. “Anton, we have some intruders. I have rung Jasper. He is on his way,” I heard Simon say softly through the door. I turned off my light before I opened the door. “You nearly gave me a heart attack! Does your grandfather know?” I re

When I arrived at home with Toby and the groceries, it was almost 6pm, so I quickly put the groceries away, I got Toby into the shower and into his pyjamas, just as Mum walked into the apartment. Seeing and smelling no dinner being ready, she dumped her brief case and headed straight to the kitchen, where she quickly started to prepare a simple dinner, of tuna & pasta bake. While Mum was preparing dinner, Toby played in the lounge and I began doing homework. After a while Mum asked how

Life finally started to look a lot better for me, after having to struggle the first eighteen years of my life. I am the oldest of two boys of a single mother who did her very best to give us a happy life, even if it was a big struggle most weeks. My younger brother is Toby, and with him being 12 years younger than me, it was often me that was left to look after him from a very early age, including having to change his nappies, until he was finally toilet trained at 18 months old. I woke u

Once we had eaten our dinner, we decided to walk along the beach back to the marina. We talked about how nice the place was, and I mentioned that I thought I was going to be very happy here. When we arrived at the marina, we noticed a few kid’s pushbikes near the jetty, and as we looked towards my catamaran, we saw kids on the jetty near the catamaran. Simon and I ran towards them, and as we neared them, we slowed down to a fast walk. “Hey guys, what’s all the excitement about,” I said to t

“Stay on a heading of 345 degrees, and you will be fine,” Mr Adamson said with a smile, and I nodded my head in understanding. After eating his lunch, Mr Adamson headed downstairs, and returned about fifteen minutes later with my lunch plate in hand. He took over the helm, while I ate my lunch. Mr Adamson kept me at the helm, and questioned me on a number of things regarding ocean navigation as we went, and after two hours on the helm, I could see some islands in the distance. “That is
