On the weekends that I was not busy with hockey commitments, I would also be at the Guildford house, helping Giorgio in the gardens, with the newest section being transformed into a nice area for relaxing, with a giant chessboard and garden seats included in the gardens, near the fish pond. Uncle Mitch had used a professional decorator to decorate and furnish the cottage, and the unit behind it, and once done, photos were taken to add to the website, that Uncle Mitch had set up for this new busi

For the past four years, we have been monitoring everything that has been happening on the Earth’s moon, and the Space Research and Training academy was now a permanent lunar base for the European Space agency, which make weekly trips between Earth and the moon, for staff changes and supplies. Grandfather Martin had retired shortly after his fiftieth birthday, and he and grandmother have retired to a quiet location in New Zealand, and they contact us at the usual special times of Birthday

“You could say that,” Uncle Mitch began, smiling broadly. “I had my lawyers draw up a few legal documents, the first informing your step-family and mum, that the house is owned by Bradshaw Investments, and that now that Tobias no longer lives at the family home, if they wish to continue living there, they must pay fortnightly rent of $480, which is dirt cheap for that area of Perth. They also have to keep the house and grounds of the property well maintained, and that there will be a bi-m

“There is a balcony from the music room, and extra wide sliding doors, could it be craned up to there, and while they are doing that maybe they can crane some mature trees and shrubs up as well,” I suggested, “Good thinking nephew, I will get onto it first thing in the morning,” Uncle Mitch said. The next morning, with my bike still located at school, Uncle Mitch drove me there, and Kyle was sitting nearby, when I arrived. “Good morning, how are we this fine Autumn morning,” Kyle said to m

“That he has, and when he and Kyle sang at the school chapel last Sunday, it was just as magnificent there too,” Uncle Mitch replied, which made me blush a bit. “As you can see, the chapel has been built to cover three levels, so as to get reasonably good acoustics, which I am pleased with how it is, as Tobias singing just now, was the first test to see how it is,” Uncle Mitch said to the visitors, as he lead them back outside, and into the elevator to the first floor. “Right, on this level

“Mainly to block out all traffic noise, but the building also has triple glazing, to also block out the noise. As you can see there is a vehicle entry and a pedestrian entry on this side of the property, and another pedestrian entry on the other side. All of which require a key card to gain access,” uncle Mitchell said, as he drove down the short drive, which has mature trees on either side, and as the drive bended sharply to the right, it began to go downwards, towards another security gat

“Uncle I want all this to end, either get your shit together or I am out of here for good,” I said to uncle Mitch before slamming the door behind me, and after grabbing a jacket, my wallet and my mobile, I headed to the garage and soon I was riding away from the house, not sure where to go at this time of the night. Ten minutes later I found myself sitting under the picnic gazebo, just across the drive from the main entrance to the senior boarding house, which faces the Swan River flats, tha

“No, I didn’t, any idea what year he graduated?” Uncle Mitchell replied in a loud whisper, and I just shrugged my shoulders in reply, while Uncle Mitchell looked up towards the choir balcony, where the pipe organ is also located, and there he saw the choir master whispering to the school choir. Just before the chapel service was to start, Lionel who is the current chapel prefect and a senior chorister, came up to us and handed me a note. “From the Choir master,” he whispered before he headed

“Thank you, Mrs Appleton. May I introduce my Uncle Mitchell Garrison, and his husband Mr Xavier Pernetti,” I said making the introductions, and Mrs Appleton didn’t hesitate to shake their hands and smile. “You have a wonderful nephew, I am glad that he is finally in a happy place,” Mrs Appleton said. “Thank you, Mrs Appleton, we are very happy to have him living at our home, and we are glad that you accepted the invitation for lunch with us today,” Uncle Mitch replied. “My given name is Ma

During dinner I remembered to mention to Uncle Mitchell about tomorrow’s hockey match, which is to be held on the main hockey field behind the senior school, and just west of the main carpark. I also remembered that my borrowed hockey stick is in my sports locker at school, and I mentioned this to Uncle Mitchell. “You said that your game starts at 9 am?” he asked me, “no, that is the rime we have to be there, the match starts at 10 am, but we have to do some pre-match training before then,”

“Yes Ma’am, thank you, and I am terribly sorry about before,” I replied, before leaving and returning to the spot where I had left Kyle and my lunch. When I saw the lunch box open, I was a little surprised, as I looked inside to see it empty, Kyle burped and rubbed his stomach, “That was a delicious lunch thank you,” he said to me. “Hey what about me, I need to eat too!” I responded, “Oh yeah, I saved the round of vegemite sandwiches for you,” Kyle replied with a serious look on his face, an

Firstly, I checked out the drawing-room, library, formal lounge, the office, and then the bedrooms, the master is next to the office, and the other three are one next door to the master and two opposite, each with ensuite bathrooms. The living room is next along with the very large dining room and kitchen. What surprised me the most was when I stepped out into the pool area, it was completely enclosed, and it has plenty of seating, plus a large natural wood table that can seat up to twelve p
