Maybe… you will have to wait and see…

Julia was my first, and it was a wonderful experience, as she guided me into the experiences of sex and we always made sure that we were careful as we both didn’t want to start a family so soon in our lives. Instead of going home to WA for the mid-year holidays, Julia and I went on a holiday to New Zealand, taking a road coach tour of both islands over 11 days, starting in Auckland and ending in Christchurch. We had the best holiday ever, and even though I had been to New Zealand before, th

How can he be homophobic when one of his best friends in Bi, plus he was very supportive when Jarrad was mistreated on the cattle station…. He is no way like that.

After some constructive discussions, which only lasted for about twenty minutes, we called an end to the meeting and decided to relax for the rest of the weekend, just as my mobile rang. Looking at the caller ID, I smiled. “Hey guys, it is Hugh Calling from NZ,” I said and everyone fell silent as I answered the call and put it on the speaker. “G’day mate, how are things over in sunny New Zealand?” I asked. “As far as I know, it’s ok last time I was there. I am actually on a working holiday

“What! Wow, that is incredible,” Giles reacted. “Yeah, it has been built as a secret retreat, hidden away from view and it has all the amenities needed to survive here for long periods. Apart from solar panels, which are the only visible thing that can be seen from the air, we have a septic waste system, a water desalination plant, parts of the garage as a hydroponic garden for growing fruit and vegetables,” I said as Jarrad and I grabbed the icebox and headed into the dining hall building.

Im now seven chapters ahead, so plenty of adventures / events happening in the coming chapters. Still no sign of the end yet. There is a five year class reunion and more university studies to get through yet, plus changes to the complex and new people enter the story. Q

“You should have left it for us to do, once all of these storms have passed, but thank you for your efforts. How many cottages have you seen with damaged windows?” the ranger replied. “All of the lower street cottages, have lost most of their windows, and only a couple on the upper street, and none at all in our cottage,” Marcus responded. “Looks like we need to install storm shutters on all windows in the future,” the ranger said to us. “Yes, we agree, it was mentioned as we were cleaning

I decided that before leaving, I needed to explore the house some more, and I was surprised to find two more large bedrooms, a front living room, a kitchenette and a formal dining room, on the ground floor, and upstairs, apart from the main kitchen and breakfast bar, there is a scullery area, a guest bedroom, comfortable lounge, a front balcony with awesome ocean views and the huge master suite that also has wonderful ocean views. “How far are we from the Ledge Point property?” I asked as I

Let's load up the tools and jump on so that we can be on our way,” Jake said to me, as we walked back to the ute, where there were two large crates, that we carried to the railcar and climbed on. Once Jake had given me a rundown on what to do and what to expect, we slowly started pumping the levers that gave us motion, and we were soon on our way down the track. “Keep an eye out for any damaged rail line or railway sleepers, so we can mark them with pain, and come back another time to do some wo

I also sent messages to Koen in Canada and Hugh in New Zealand, as I had not been keeping in regular contact with them lately. “Hey Guys, sorry for the lack of communication with you both lately. I graduated from Uni in Perth with a Diploma in Agricultural Science. I am nearing the end of my trip across the country, where I will be attending Australian National University next week. Hope all is well for you both in Canada and New Zealand. Your Good Friend always, OQK.” Once I had sent the messag

When we arrived at the T-Junction, we turned left, to go and check out the Olgas, also known traditionally as Kata Tjuta, and when we arrived, we decided to take a hike through one of the gorges in the valley of the winds as it is known, and it was spectacular to see this amazing natural feature up so close. It was just a 50-kilometre drive to Yulara, where we checked into our accommodation at the Ayres Rock Campground, where we discovered there were cabins available, so we elected to upgrade to

Once Mum had left, I watched my siblings playing outside on the lawn while Gran was getting dinner prepared, as well as starting on Christmas Day, which ended up being a great time for all, with Dad coming down Christmas Eve and staying until Boxing Day morning before driving home to the farm. Mum was away for two weeks, so I had to remain home to assist Gran with looking after the little ones, who were always on the go with the energy that even tired me out too. A week after the New Year,

No one 😆😆😆chuckled at the Emu vs Jarrad incident…. 😔😔😔 No one seems to like my Aussie humour…

It is the Dads who look after the chicks when they are young.

“No I am not, I just had a mini heart attack, there is a fricking full-size emu right outside the villa, and it just scared the bejesus out of me,” Jarrad replied, as I looked out and saw the said emu casually walking away, and I bust out laughing and it took me some time to calm down, and when I did, Jarrad was sitting down on the lounge not looking at all amused at my laughing attack. “When you are quite finished, and after you have checked that the bloody thing has gone, can we get going

“Was it Malcolm?” I asked, and Jarrad shook his head no, and I took in a short breath in surprise, that it was Brady that had caused the issues, and I was furious that this was happening to my good friend. I managed to convince Jarad to come out to the lounge room and we sat down and ate our dinners in silence. When he was about halfway through his dinner, Jarrad began sobbing again. “Do you want to go home, I am ok if we leave here, even if it is tonight,” I said to Jarrad, who said or did noth

The next morning we were up early, even though Jarrad was not too keen on being awake so early since the sun had only just risen, but after a quick breakfast and packing our camp up, we were soon on the road again leaving Wandina Station shortly before 6 am. I had asked the owners if they could call Dalgety Downs Station in about an hour, and let them know that we stayed overnight at Wandina and that we left at 6 am. We estimated that it would take us approximately 4 ¼ hours to get to Glenb

I read out loud the email to Jarred, and we sat there stunned at this news, “It is still going to be bloody hot there, especially when it is so far inland from the coast, but I think we should give it a go,” Jarred said breaking the long silence, “I agree with you mate, I will send an email back to them when we get home and I have checked a few things first,” I responded. When I did get home a day later, I had a look at my timetable and realised that I would be graduating at the end of the

I think Jarrad enjoyed the camping out in the bush, I certainly did, as I settled into my swag each night, as I watched the stars high above and listened to the sounds of the night animals coming out to feed, and the distant chatter coming from around the camp, before drifting into a comfortable sleep. Our last work day was Friday, and we had elected to travel to Newman that evening, to get a head start on our journey home. We had packed up our belongings during lunch and loaded everything

Knacker rings are a rubber ring that is placed above the two testese (knackers) to castrate the male cattle. circulation is cut off and the testese eventually drop off, without any major harm or pain to the animal.

Half an hour later, I had replaced all four blades, which were all in a bad state, and Jarrad drove off happy, as he continued the mowing. I was also given the task of fixing punctures on two tyres, which is always a tough job to do, but luckily the station has the proper gear, I just had to let Harry show me how to work it properly before I could start the repairs. It was late afternoon by the time I had finished the tyres and put them back on the vehicles that they came from, it was time

An hour later, we came up to our third creek crossing, this one was a bit wider than the others and had a lot more water in it, but, the water level marker told me that it only had half a metre of water in the creek, so it wasn’t too worrying, and we managed to cross over with no issues at all. After crossing over, we parked under some trees near the crossing, we decided to have our lunch break, and I pulled out the awning to get some shade, while Jarrad grabbed the table and chairs. After
