Help upgrade two roommates, assist the third through a romantic crisis, and top it off with a fantastic investment, Will is on a roll! Maybe Marie is getting to sample her prime upgrade, so she is on a roll as well. Steph will be along soon to upgrade the living arrangements, but he was too slow for the initial Tesla investment! Maybe Will will let him drive one of his. Great feel good chapter at a time when I could use a happy distraction. Thanks, do you think you can keep it up for four years or so?

Chapter 3 - New Beginnings
gmc commented on ChromedOutCortex's story chapter in Chapter 3 - New Beginnings
I really am enjoying this story, I think Mason departure from home was very touching and his beginnings on campus seem promising. I look forward to the next chapter. The characters are delightful! -
I’m ready for a better world! Keep writing we need to find a better place to be.

Rallying to the cause and relaxing with chowder
gmc commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Rallying to the cause and relaxing with chowder
Another great chapter! The insight into Ralph and Nolan as their lives further entwine while their relationship grows is delightful. Sure there is Barb in the background churning things up and a slightly raunchy photo shoot, a football game and Nolan’s financial situation, all of which makes life interesting!- 8 comments

Marc seems to be missing his not my boyfriend. He really needs a permanent cuddle partner or series of willing friends!

Maybe Will and Travis will make it as couple, but I don’t think Travis’ fame will wait four years!

Humble pie, domesticity and Dragons’ Den
gmc commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Humble pie, domesticity and Dragons’ Den
Life would be so much better if…the thing is you have to live life as it is. Ralph has finally been able to set his own parameters with his parents. Now he is dealing with them adult to adult not as a shamed child. Ralph has become open about his feelings for Nolan to the point of asking his father for help. The twins are all in plus they are being able dress according to their own fashion sense! So maybe life is better!- 20 comments

Being able to recognize when people are lying is a super power! What’s next! Good job! This is a fascinating story.

Jeremy is better, but I don’t think he realizes how much work he has in front of him if he is going to repair the breach with Brad. Will is probably more work than Jeremy is able to do! If Kris and Jeremy can strengthen their relationship, maybe they survive. At this point I think Jeremy is doing what people have told him what he needs to do, and he believes that will be enough. Until he starts to actually change neither Brad nor Will be willing to rebuild their relationship with him. That being said, the medication seems to have stabilized his moods. He is easier to be around, but not having drastic moods swings indicate that he has begun to deal with his issues or his innate bitchiness. Will and Marie are adjusting well. Travis is here for a visit! Will is exploring what his major is going to be instead of committing to a double major. Time will tell. Clare is finally loosening up, first visiting Boston with Jack, then off to St. Barts with Luke. It’s about time! Thanks for the chapter!

I am enjoying the progression of the story. Each chapter brings us forward. The ability to identify lies certainly makes investigating crimes easier and gives our hero a talent that will surely help him succeed. Going to law school opens more possibilities either as a defense attorney or a prosecutor! I hope we get to see more scenarios as he hones his skills. This story does have the potential to be a great series! Next chapter please.

Boating trip and boyfriend problems
gmc commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Boating trip and boyfriend problems
Ralph is finally thinking about making his life better including boating with friends and romancing Nolan. I wonder how Teresa will feel about the twins being around a lesbian couple especially if she figures out that Ralph bought them boys coveralls! Poor Morrie, I hope he can placate his abandoned boyfriend; too much work and not enough play is bad for building relationships.* -
I too am worried. How severe are Devin’s injuries? I hope for the best, but cliffhangers are what they are! I await the next chapter. At least Devin was himself, being in his dog persona would certainly have been problematic!

Androids interacting instead of humans in dangerous or threatening situations is a good idea as is traveling without the need of life support or supplies. The possibilities are endless! There is much to consider as Ark II continues to find ways to improve and protect their colony. They really are the saviors of mankind and the example of what we could become! Thanks for another chapter and a peek into what could be!

A good ending. The birthing day party was really a recognition of Marc’s achievements culminating with his Junior Captaincy. He has also moved the twins from lovers to friends that he loves like the triad. Now he is ready for more training and further growth and adventures and maybe a fated mate! I am so glad that the next book debuts on the 25th. Thanks you!

Panic, relaxation and parental musings
gmc commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Panic, relaxation and parental musings
Ralph’s parents are truly dinosaurs living in a make believe world that was probably obsolete before they were born. Despite their horrific attempts to mold him into the idiots they are, Ralph has finally come into his own! The twins on a boat with Morrie! I can hardly wait! Is Ralph’s father going off the rails? What’s next? -
Fabian may have had sex with three of the family, but he has way to go to match Buzz! Steph will love to hear about the adventures with the French roommate whose background seems slightly familiar. JJ couldn’t have been more hurtful to both Will and Brad. The severed relationships will be his to repair. When JJ gets his medication working, he will have to deal with the results of his abhorrent behavior. He has to take responsibility for his actions and deal with his demons instead of hiding behind his bitchiness and the barriers that wealth has provided. I hope the dormitory transitions are happening soon. Another great chapter. Will and Brad are really communicating as adults.

I love the progress and the vision of what is to come!

Things are changing for the twins. They have grown with Marc’s help. He has given them love as individuals as a result they stroger and not so dependent on one another. Marc is approaching his Birthingday and his captaincy. He is on the verge of achieving his goals. His mining venture already successful. Will he find more ways to challenge himself? He is truly an instigator of positive change for his friends and lovers! I can envision this as an epic story crying to be told! Let grow! What a heroic saga!

Last year I got jars of mincemeat from Amazon to which I added some brandy for a soak before making a pie and some tarts with prepared pie crusts. I think it was Cross and Blackwell , whatever it was well received. My holidays rarely include fistfights, but it would be nice to have Devon and Mac around just in case! Another grand chapter with romance, dancing, and drama!

Wives, boyfriends and families
gmc commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Wives, boyfriends and families
Now I wonder what kind of man the Dibble will be! I am certain that the twins will have an opinion. I doubt he will be as much fun as Nolan. Excellent storytelling! -
I really enjoyed A Kind of Death. Cav is very likable! It a great beginning for another series with well drawn characters. I hope more books will become available. I also read that you are working on a fantasy trilogy. I hope that comes to fruition. After mysteries, I love world building fantasies in the vein of Mercedes Lackey. I know your take on the genre will be addictive. Keep the creative juices flowing!

What are the consequences for Christopher and his family? Who was sending Marc messages? Perhaps a future love interest that will check more boxes than the twins? Marc is gathering quite a tribe of former lovers becoming friends with benefits. His implanted spyware is likely to bring on more adventures as well as gathering intelligence for the family business. For someone who has decided to be a miner, he seems to be a have feel for many aspects of the company. When the time comes, will anyone be as qualified as Marc to run the company? Next chapter please.

It seems that George and Caroline have reached at least a temporary peace. I doubt it will last if her political power is restored. Calvert finally realized that he has some power of his own, certainly enough to protect himself from any of Caroline’s schemes. George ,too, has interesting dinner parties. Now off to Paris and more political intrigue. Thanks for the chapter! I have been missing our naval hero! The interaction between the characters is superb.

The uncles were a nice surprise. The family grows! The bonds strengthens! Greg is proving himself to be a great leader and certainly a strong Baron. His sense of justice may not sit well with his immediate superior, but Gregg will find a way to redirect the funds in his personal account, that originated from Baron Evans dubious interpretation of the Dracul tax law, back to the vampires as it was intended. What an excellent chapter. There is much that needs to be addressed and I look forward to what develops next even without a cliffhanger!
