JJ is on the verge of being empathetic! Can you believe it? I love to see him get glimpses of self awareness. Perhaps one day he will become likable in a bitchy sort of way. Leaps and bounds JJ. Great way to begin the weekend.

Wow! That was a surprise! Granger, the Royals, and Calvert! Who says sailing with the king is not an adventure. Tuesdays can be exciting! Thanks.

JJ seems to have met a good match! I see some relationship drama in his immediate future. Clingy girlfriends don’t like losing control. Will and Travis are strengthening their relationship, but separation is looming ahead. I’m so looking forward to the next chapter! What a boost for my weekend! Thanks.

Welcome to JJ’s poor me world. But somehow we are on his side, hoping he will find a partner who will give him balance. Could K-Kris be the one? He certainly has a pedigree JJ is bound to appreciate. Thanks for the boost into the weekend. I’m hooked!

I personally prefer this story in the first person; after all it’s all about Greg: what happens to him, what he becomes, how is grows, what he feels, his inner workings. think focusing on Greg’s point of view is one of the strengths of this saga. His growing powers and the abilities developing in his “sons” expand the possibilities of going in directions that would not be available when writing in the first person. No matter how you decide to proceed, I look forward to the next book. Don’t overthink. You’ve already written the story once; now you are honing, expanding, and improving on the original and making it better! Keep using the skills you’re developed. Experience is king! Happy writing!

This is a great start for the new year! I hope Greg finds a way to redeem Brian’s dad and restore the family. Why not find a healthy solution?

I don’t want to think about it! What a cliffhanger! Great chapter!

Greg is developing more abilities and is showing himself as a thoughtful leader. He confronts Brian and gets him to acknowledge that his father has been physically abusive. Until that is resolved Greg will not change Brian. I think Greg will find a way to protect Brian and his mother and he will resolve the situation using his abilities rather than violence to mete out justice. What a powerful chapter! So much can be hidden in our world by our silence, our fears, and our misplaced shame and guilt. Not in Greg’s world!

What is great way to start the weekend! We have lots of beginnings! There is so much to look forward to. I was tempted to read the earlier version, but I think this version is tighter and even more interesting so I am going to wait for the new chapters without looking ahead. Keep up the good work!

It seems Greg has some ideas that could transform the vampire culture. The “ordinary “ vampires seem to caught in a feudal system that is out of step with the modern world. What changes will be made? Will Greg bring unwanted attention to himself? What other abilities will surface as Greg continues to develop? Great job! I look forward to the next chapter.

What a great end for the chapter! What a great tribute to your writing! It was an inevitable death with so many people wanting and waiting for Curtis Buck’s demise. So many people out of pocket! So many motives! Thanks for the chance to speculate on the identity of the culprit. It seems that it could take more than the one chapter to unravel the mystery.

Great job establishing the vagaries of fatherhood for our young vampire couple! Things are changing quickly and that seems to be the way things are going to be for quite a while! I’m looking forward to the next chapter.

See you on the far side of one hundred! Great chapter! There is still a lot to be resolved. Keep us wanting more. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick start for book three! I hardly had time to wonder when it would begin. I look forward to the next chapter.

I am not happy to see this phase of the story end, but Charlie’s death and a new born brother is a lot! I certainly anticipate the next book! Great storytelling!

Greg certainly asserted himself, establishing himself as a strong Baron and wisely made a deal with Prince George to remain unseated until he graduates from law school unless he is needed. The world of Dracul is so different from the human world. Greg will need to adjust to his new status and feel comfortable with the privileges and the responsibilities that are part of it. It seems as if his father will recover. I hope he does. I am looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for your efforts. Great job!

Friends and family are what Greg needs in a crisis. Support is essential when emotions are so strong that it is difficult to function. I hope his Dad’s injuries can be overcome! What a cliffhanger!
-
I’m feeling good about Travis and Jake, but I’m still anxious about Curtis. He is unhinged and the more he knows the worse it gets. I hope Brad has a plan to bring his threats to an end! As always I am looking forward to the next chapter to see what new shifts in alliances fulminate to neuter Curtis. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

I like how Greg and Scot are building a cadre by helping their friends and integrating them into their lives. All seems to be going almost too well. When will the other Barons begin to threaten Greg? I look forward to the next chapter. Great story!

The story is great and each chapter pulls me in more and more, but it’s the characters that make it even better. Tommy has protected Greg by revealing himself. Jake understands the importance of keeping the secret and the consequences of failing . Greg has inspired loyalty in his friends and his vampire family. I look forward to the next challenge.

Great chapter! Greg exudes confidence and exhibits an innate sense of ethics that should serve him well in business and as a Baron in the vampiric world. He is loyal to his friends and will no inspire many to be loyal to him. I look forward to the next chapter. This one was a Thanksgiving treat!
