OMG OMG OMG that was awesome! I was at the edge of my seat most of this chapter and had to keep myself from skipping to the end! Like other reviewers, I was happy you gave us a resolution, and didn't leave us dangling over that clifff for a week I love that Warren was a part of the resolution, even if he's going to get his ass handed to him by Adelin when he gets home I have to admit I wasn't sure how this was going to play out. It could have gone many different ways and could have been a lot worse. I really think the joining is what saved them. I am looking forward to them exploring more of their communication as wolves. Does it only work when in stressful or highly emotional situations? Can they control it? Thank you for making this your longerest chapter, chapter

Well, I think its unanimous... this one had me teary as I read it. My mom is still with me, but this made me think of my grandmothers. One died when I was only twelve and the other when I was an adult, but I still sometimes see people, and meet women who bring their memories rushing back to me. I always miss them a little bit more in those moments, even as I smile. As for the term "old girl", it made me smile. I had a friend who's grandmother referred to herself, and other older women with spunk, and "old broad". Thank you for the little trip down memory lane, my friend.

This was a wonderful, and realistic ending to this story. Dave mourned Jae, the person and the love they shared, and he didn't rush into anything with Terry, but he also didn't wall himself away and keep Terry out. Their relationship developed naturally, as friends and then finally to Dave taking that scary plunge and accepting Terry's love. I got teary reading that they were married, and that Barry and Cathy are expecting. Life can be full of loss and pain, but it does move on, if you let it. Everyone suffered losses, but things are slowly getting better: their community, their homes, their personal lives. Terry stamping the jar as "Jae's Honey" was an touching tribute to the man, as well as the love Dave and Jae shared. I was happy to see Terry acknowledge it. He's a good man. Thank you for this look into this world, tim. It's been a wonderful journey

I will start with the proviso that I am not a fan of open relationships.... that being said I think the basis of any good relationship is honesty, communication and trust. If you are at a place in your relationship where outside partners are acceptable to BOTH of you and you have discussed this with your partner then no, it's not cheating. As long as you keep the lines of communication open and are honest with yourself and your partner about your wants and desires, than your relationship can be whatever you want it to be. Not everyone fits into that monogamous partnership mold. To me cheating means going behind your partner's back and doing something you know, deep down, they would never agree to or accept. What's that saying? "If you have to hide it, it's cheating."

This was simply beautiful, thank you. Their joining was everything I hoped it would be and made my romantic soul happy. I loved that tobyn could see the colors, even if only for a moment. It meant so much to Kellar to share that with his mate. I'm a little worried about the coming days, but it was reassuring to see these two connect on every level. They'll be as strong as they can be for the upcoming battle. I really feel for Elinor. Her leader's mind is telling her one thing while her mother's heart is telling her another. I think that having Denver at her side will help to keep her grounded and not trying to 'help'. Finally... Warren. I smiled when I read how much the pack has not only accepted him, but also seem to like and welcome him. It was also touching for him to tell Kellar how much he needs him to come back safe. Their brotherly relationship is well on its way to becoming a bond. Biting my nails in anticipation of the coming morning

I'm glad that Gareth and Jim decided to make the journey back with Dave. They'll be welcome there, and they'll be good company for Dave. I get the grief Daves feeling. It's not just sadness over the loss, but also a lot of regret that is weighing on him. It's the regrets that can linger and make moving on so hard. Although I think Terry will eventually be a good fit for Dave, I worry that, even if it's not intentional, he's going to use that young man to distract himself from his grief. I hope that doesn't happen, but it would be so easy for Dave to just allow it to get some comfort somewhere. The burgeoning community is great. People banding together to help and protect each other... building a better life. It's the silver lining in the cloud of loss.

:cry: it sucks, but sometimes you never get a second chance. Life was harsh in that world, and as much as I wish for a different ending, this one makes sense.

Although I am worried about Keller and Tobyn going after Reznick, I think they're right. Sometimes the best defense is a good offence. They know he's in the area, and they know WHY he's there... waiting for the hunter to make a move could be frustrating, and dangerous to many of the pack members. With the added bonus of knowing Reznick's secret, and his "modus operandi" they actually have a chance to do some scouting and stay under the guy's radar. It was bittersweet hearing about Sybil. She lost her mate to these hunters, and now they have a way to possible stop the deaths. It has to be hard for her, knowing that if only they knew about the copper back then, her mate might still be alive. The happy part is that she is getting her 'vision' back, even if its only in the form of nudges right now. Keeping my fingers crossed for next week!

Well look at Warren go!! Not only is he 'nesting', he's making decisions based on his mate's happiness (the house with 4 bedrooms), is feeling very protective of Adelin, and now he's even picked up on something that could save shifters everywhere. He's gone from a lonely recovering addict to a hero in such a short amount of time... and he's gained not only a brother, but a whole pack as a family. It was wonderful to read. The silver angle was brilliant, as well the copper. Both explain so much, and fit with how shifters are so tied with nature. Wonderfully done! Now on to the next chapter

I do adore your romantic soul True love would do so many things for us, but you're absolutely right, all I really need is to know its there waiting to hold me when I return home.

I completely agree. Corey didn't even consider being jealous about Liam and Jason. To me, that shows how far he's come with his own confidence in Jason and their relationship. I felt badly for Liam too, but he wasn't going to wait forever for Alex to finally come out. Sometimes you have to cut your losses, even if you do love the other person.
