    Thank you, Dan. I have written a lot since this story... a lot... and for the last anthology I wrote three entries, and only one was poetry. I am a very busy man, looking after a small farm by myself, and am spread thin a lot of times. I have eleven or twelve chapters written for a new story, but it has to take a back seat to renovations etc. I appreciate the vote of confidence... I'll keep trying.

    Thanks, katcleve. I know it's been a long time, and I wish things were different, but all I can say is I haven't given up. I don't want to rehash what led this to happen, but I hate that I disappointed so many faithful readers. I like that you are a greedy bitch.

    Just more convenient. It will be quieter in the family room when I am doing laundry, I'll gain a second pantry, and the extra chest freezer, which was in the spare room, is now in one end of the kitchen where the dryer cupboard used to be. I'll also have more room for doing laundry and I can close the door to the spare room if someone shows up during a wash... and it only takes up a foot in one corner of that room, so it isn't obtrusive... and for a washer/dryer, it is really beautiful. It's platinum black steel.
