  1. I am one of the few people brave enough to say I love Rick Astley. Aloha, Albert.
  2. Enjoy the road trip, Terry.
  3. Thanks, buddy. And I've been having a hard time responding. I'm sure the glitches will be cleared up soon, but yeah, it's hard.
  4. One story I submitted to this anthology is almost 16,000 words. Is it allowed, by anthology rules, to divide it into chapters? I vaguely remember it was a couple or three years back, but I see nothing about it in the submission guidelines.
  5. Not sure... sometime in September, I assume.
  6. I did it. I submitted two complete stories to the Anthology.
  7. Oh god... I do know that feeling of missing my dog. It's like you've lost one of the best pieces of yourself. Glad I could provide a little brightness, bro, but I know nothing can replace the dear wee lad. Sorry about your migraines... hope you find relief soon.
  8. They are facing a tough decision for sure. I particularly liked the scene when Logan woke up. Dads and sons. Clarence got me teared up.
  9. Yea, that's why. They are being diplomatic, letting Clarence decide how to go about it, once they reveal the importance of mates. I must admit I spent a lot of time working on how to convey the history with regards to the painting. I just reread that scene and it is satisfying to feel I wouldn't change a thing about the explanation. Cheers!
  10. You shouldn't be using your teeth... wait... never mind.
  11. We really weren't seeing Logan. We were seeing his tumor. We can tell the pack loved Logan at one time, especially Delia, so yeah, we can bet he was a loving child. Fingers crossed. I really like the man Clarence is. He's a tremendous Alpha, and he understands diplomacy like Tobyn does. I grew to love the healing scenes, maybe because it was an evolving thing. And yeah, their telepathy allowed Tobyn to see the blue flashes that occurred while Kellar was doing his healing. Whether he ever sees the colors again is something we don't know. Thanks for loving the story, Terry. Cheers!
  12. I just reread this chapter, and OMG, the Logan scene had my old heart racing. I'm surprised but pleased I can do this... immerse myself in my own stories. There was a lot of drama, but there is hope too. It's pretty easy to feel sorry for Tilly though. Logan looks like anything but the perfect mate. Delia is awesome. She comes across like Vega's Miss Sybil in some ways, and being a keeper could come in handy. Thank you, kind sir. Cheers!
  13. And he's a ginger. @dughlas likes gingers.
  14. Hey, all. Getting on site has been hit and miss for me today. Hope y'all are well.
  15. Woot! Congratulations, Terry!!
  16. Absolutely. I've always wanted my own earth mate. Vega is another mystery in a mystery right now. There is so much at stake here for both the boys and the pack. Both packs. We shall see what happens when and if contact is made. Cheers... G.
  17. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love writing dialogue.
  18. Yeah, it was an exciting, scary, heart pumping chapter to write. Warren was indeed the hero again. His deire to help proved right as it happens, but he did take a hell of a chance. I honestly believe Kellar reached Reznick's neck in time, so he would have saved Tobyn. The only shot fired was Warren's, so Reznick wasn't quick enough. What mattered to Kellar, though, is that Warren got the credit. Yes, if Reznick had survived with the copper knowledge, their advantage would have been over. Thank you, sir!
  19. Thank you so much, Terry. Your words mean a lot to me. I'd forgotten this bit of writing. I do have my moments. "Nobody could ever properly describe the joining. It defied words. The profoundness of it wasn’t just sexual. It was emotional and spiritual to go with a chemical reaction of the physical. The earth mother had truly outdone herself." Yeah, she did!
  20. Elinor might be the leader, but Miss Sybil is the Matriarch of the pack. All of them rely on her for her knowledge and her wisdom. It's so nice to see her getting nudges again. I love how Kellar's mind works. He saw a potential hole in their theory, and found the answer. It was the thing he needed before putting anyone, especially Tobyn, at risk. Cheers!
  21. No worries, Terry. I appreciate anything I can get. Life happens. I love writing the special aspects of everyday living and mixing it with pivotal moments like what happened in this chapter. It is so rewarding when readers don't see something coming. Warren is a true hero, and is now fully and completely part of the pack. It should really help his confidence. And as far as the story, this new revelation is a really big deal! Cheers, my friend.
