  1. Glad you're enjoying it, buddy. I love the part you quoted too. Boone and Coy communicate, and that is the key to a good life together. I love your line that "loneliness can't be broken by being rode". Mitch is being a fool, but facing his mortality is clouding his thinking. Cheers and thank you so much, Albert.
  2. Aloha, Albert.
  3. Happy Tuesday, all! 7C and cloudy here....

Yeah, the being flattered thing fell flat for sure, but they were attempting to console me. I've done a lot of things in my life, but to that point I don't think I'd ever worked harder or given so much of myself, in creating that particular work.

I haven't really checked since that time because of how upset it made me. Basically, you quote a passage from your work on the google search bar--enclose it in quote marks--and then click 'search google' beneath that bar. I think you can only quote so many words (32?) and if I'm not mistaken, @Ciasuggested not including character names in the quote. I guess it's time I did another check.

My "Morningstar: The Malaise" was stolen and posted on Wattpad a few years back and I had no idea until I read a posting by @Cia about how this happens and how we can and should be on the alert for it. It was a great article and should be reposted. Sorry I don't have the link, but it was a 'how to' for checking if a story has been posted elsewhere on the internet. Anyway, even though my story had been taken down at the time I found out, it devastated me. I am thankful for whoever reported it, but it didn't change the fact it affected me deeply. I wasn't flattered as someone suggested I should be. No. I felt violated (or maybe a better word is vulnerable), and I was angry! I guess I still am.
  8. This was entertaining! Thank you!
  9. Happy Monday, all!
  10. Aloha, Albert.
  11. I want to see those.
  12. I was relieved too.

    April 17 - 24

Religious counterfeits... so spot on and I love this poem. April 22 was beautiful, and of course I always love your 'winged' poetry. April 19... the music of spring played here today, and I was lifted up. My guess would be the first one, April 17, was written by your students, but what do I know? All of these were wonderful. Cheers!
  14. Women have toys too.
  15. It is really hot outside... got some good sun on my face. My horse is dozing in the sun and loving it.
  16. I got my lawn tractor going for the summer. Haven't changed the oil yet but I did that in the fall so it should be good for a few mowings. Spark plugs and battery were new last year. Woot! Good feeling to hear it roar to life.
  17. Hi, Terry. Sawasdee Khrup.
  18. Happy Sunday, all! 19 C today.
  19. Aloha, Albert!
  20. He needed to cool down.
  21. This was lovely to read, Drew. Some cats are definitely regal... I have one of those too.
  22. Thanks, buddy! It's nice to hear you would like to have Boone as a friend. Both of them are being great friends to Mitch because that's who they are. I love writing the little scenes between Coy and Boone... like the few moments under the tree. Those moments are definitely sweet, and I need those as both a reader and a writer. Cheers, Albert!
