18 was great fun. Really great fun. 19 resonated to this amateur gardener. I found Ciao Liebe very touching. 17... I wonder how many of us have been tempted to cross that road? Another superb week, Adi!
I didn't know you were doing this again, Adi, but I really enjoyed your skyscraper. Nice way to start... sweet and upbeat. I tried the sky scraper recently as well.
Thanks, buddy. Mitch is trying to the right thing, at least in his eyes, but that kiss wasn't in keeping with what he set out to do. We know Will is strong enough to handle whatever comes, but Mitch has convinced himself his dying would cause the man too much pain if they are close. I understand it, but it's hard to agree with. Men are idiots. Cheers, my dear friend.
Mitch appears to be truly happy in this chapter... at peace in having this beautiful piece of land he can be buried on. I think when we have something to leave, we want someone to leave it to. Boone and Coy are his family, and he sees them as the very best of men. I liked writing about the smudging ceremony, and being able to talk some about native Americans. They weren't treated with the dignity they deserved, and that should not be forgotten.
Thank you, Albert... so happy you are enjoying this reread. Cheers!
