Yup. Almost left it too late, and now I have very little immune system to fight off any bugs. My doc talked to the emerge doc who treated me--they have offices in the same building--and she told him I was lucky I came in when I did, that I was in really bad shape. She told me the same thing. I got a lecture from my doc. Pneumonia is way more serious for someone in their seventies than someone in their forties. I learned my lesson.

I had a phone appointment on Thursday. I've been having chills and sweats all along. He says I'm doing well... and that it could last another month or two. I know what to look for now.

I had a math teacher who destroyed math comprehension for me. I can recapture my hate for him too. He wouldn't answer questions, and wouldn't explain anything. He was Hungarian, and had trouble with the English language, and he was an asshole. He was fired at the end of the year after the majority of his students failed and parents hit the roof. Should have been fired in the first semester.

Love Shakespeare! Five years of high school for me in Ontario, Steve. Grades nine through thirteen for some of us enrolled in five year academics. I saw Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth at Stratford when I was a young lad. Bought the soundtrack for the 1968 film and listened to it at least three hundred times... here is a song from it that is a forgotten gem...
