  1. Hello, all! Moved around more today. Feeling positive.
  2. You aren't the only one who hopes for that, Benny. I think we are seeing already just how complicated this whole situation is for Drake. It's kind of a slow reveal as to his past and the power it holds over him. I just reread this chapter and am right back into it. Jimmy is a rockstar! Hope you stick with it... it's a journey with never a dull moment. Thanks and cheers. Gary
  3. Without a doubt, Jimmy still lives in my head. I love the guy. Thanks for bringing me back to this, Benny. After finishing up Morningstar, which was such an intense, time consumng, and immersive experience, I needed to write a human drama of a different sort. I had a blast posting this. Yeah, you caught that, eh? Jimmy sees an opportunity. As another reader said, what could possibly go wrong. Thanks for reading, friend. Cheers!
  4. Rebel with a cause. My favorite fish are Roseline sharks (Denison Barbs), but I won't be ready for months. I'm doing a planted tank this time, my first ever, and using the Walstad method which is a no water change, balanced environment if I do it right. The only maintenance will be topping up the water. Every time I did a water change in the past I lost fish, and that was discouraging. I used to pay $40 each for Roselines, but it appears now they have come down quite a bit in price.
  5. Oh, I got in deep shit with my kids today. I've been thinking of getting back into aquariums, and I saw a sale on a 75 gallon tank that ends Sunday($100 off). I called the store and they only had one left, and they would only hold it for me a few hours. So... I got dressed warmly... and drove an hour to get it. I wore a mask, and the roads weren't too bad, and I didn't have to lift it... just had to walk in the store and pay for it... but my son called and asked where I was. My DIL called him at work and told him I was out. I told him and he was not happy. Then my daughter called me. Yikes! Yes, it was very tiring, and yes, I didn't feel great, but it was good for my head to actually do something. I'm not sorry. Pffft.
  6. 700 words of a new chapter. Time for a nap.
  7. Feel more human today. Hello, peeps
  8. Absolutely not! Okay, maybe....
  9. Hello, friends. Slept solid last night... no night sweats or chills. Hope everyone is doing well.
  10. And pervy. Hey, brother B.
  11. When it's something important.
  12. Clo... stop perving out!
  13. Hello, all Still doing my best to write.
  14. Sorry for you, dugh, but hearing Mum is doing well makes me happy.
  15. Thanks, Albert. I am tired of feeling so weak, and I'm not good at being patient.
  16. I did it. I finished the new chapter, though it is riddled with typos. Feel like crap, but I'm used to that.
  17. 'Tranquil' sounds nice about now.
  18. Hello, all. Trying very hard to think positive today. Did some more writing yesterday.
  19. That kind of courage needs remembering. In my life, the most powerful force I've witnessed is love, even over hate. I am sorry for your loss, V, but thankful you had such a love, and proud this little story shone a light on the love that kept your beloved going. Tears are to be shared.
  20. Hello, friends. 500 words of a new, pivotal chapter, but I am already worn out. I can hardly move my neck, and my back is soaked with sweat. Been put on probiotic pills to combat the damage the antibiotics did to my bowels. Hopefully, I'll be able to stop complaining to you guys in a week or two.
  21. Duly noted, bro. I had a phone appointment with my doc yesterday, and he said I should move around more than I have been now, and that sitting up three or four times a day for five, ten, or twenty minutes will help expand my lungs. I know I need to build myself up, and that it can't be rushed.
  22. I actually finished a chapter I had started before I got sick! My hands are trembling and I feel weak, but it was worth it.
  23. I managed to do a bit of writing today before I had to lay down. Made me happy to add to the story... it isn't much, but it's something.
