    All this reading and writing and editing is taking a toll. My eyes haven't been right since getting pneumonia. Writing a story is hard, but it's the work that comes after that is tricky. Soooo many ways to say the same thing.

    Ready for bear. Literally. My daughter and DIL were coming home from my oldest daughter's birthday celebration at Medieval Times Saturday night, and they almost ran into a bear that wouldn't move off the road. It wasn't huge, but it wasn't small either, and it was less than half a kilometer from our driveway. Been working in the woods, cleaning up some downed branches in the section I've cleared and groomed, and heard a cracking noise fairly close. Went (walked very quickly) back to the house I got my airhorn. Don't need a big critter with big claws sneaking up on me.

    I've been editing on and off all day. It's my oldest's birthday tomorrow. Oooops. Not tomorrow... 12th. Looked at the date on the satellite and wondered where I gained 2 days. Getting old.
