Maybe a little hint about Derek's past, maybe, but then Derek shows up anyway. By the way, the electricity wasn't paid for, just like I mentioned a few chapters back, his father is already screwing him out of the house. Charlie going all over looking for Derek was cute and Gina, the nurse at the hospital, breaking all sorts of rules and privacy regarding patient privacy was entertaining. But once again, Charlie and Derek are in bed together, what will happen next.

I am not attached to dogs at all, so I don't find that heartbreaking or anything. But you are stripping him away of everything. I'm enjoying this little story, it's fun.

So all the friends knew and didn't care about Chucky being gay. Well, duh, Charlie is not good at hiding it. And what kind of po-dunk town do people get married at eighteen? And did Charlie have a plan looking for Derek? Was he just going to drive around and hopes he finds him? By the way, you killed his dog!

It's definitely angsty but I love the character of Julie.

Your obsession knows no bounds

Don't worry, I'm offering my running commentary with each chapter. So far it's been a fun, silly, read.

NOt sure about a beach yet. But they had two pool parties, not one mention of wet butts.

You obviously don't know the depths I'll go when I'm committed to a bit. I already said I wouldn't mention how "rough" the story is. We both know there are lots of them. But I'm ignoring them for the most part. I'm focusing on the characters and story. And I'm already to like chapter eight, and I shan't spoil anything here but damn...

You killed the dog! According to Jason Science, once a prick, always a prick. Offering to pay some bills, don't do it. That's how he'll get your house, right from under you. He won't pay the bills, then the bank will foreclose, he buy the house at a cheap rate, kick out Charlie and use it a closet for his barbie toy. So Derek blows poor Charlie after his mother and dog died. That's some sad sperms he had to ingest. Gross. So now he has nothing, no mother, no dog, no job, and Derek, who may or may not be able to give good blowjobs. And he didn't even do a reach-a-round, that's some cold blooded Sports Balls shit right there.

So Charlie said a few choice words to Barbie and his sperm donor. Personally I don't think he went far enough, but damn have you stripped him of his entire world. The next thing you'll do is kill his dog. The funeral was nice enough, a good way to remember his mom, though the dad's speech was pretty bad. Like if I was Charlie I'd punch him in the nose, he made it about himself where it should have been made about Carol. The whole scene where Derek kisses Charlie, creeper much? Seriously, the boy is in mourning and you're pressing in with your morning glory. Though the positions should be reversed. I am a firm believer that Derek is a bottom. Overall, very angsty in a fun way.

Of course Julie told Derek. And how clueless is Charlie, like really? Foreshadowing abounds, the whole monologue Carol did, she knew it was time. She had things to say and Charlie didn't understand. Very well written, the scene between Derek and Charlie after the news was real emotional. Though I shan't say that doctors don't give news of deaths on answering machines, never. And I knew you were going to try, the father came back. I told you a few chapters ago that he's a piece of shite. I won't allow you to try and make him a good character. It's time to take off the gloves.

Booya, Derek is a blond. Julie makes me laugh. I love her craziness. Still won't call her bitchy, but the way she acted in the diner reminds me of someone...I shan't say who. Another chance to describe wet butts. I'm beginning to think that particular obsession came later in life. Not much happening, Derek remains closed, especially when Julie is around, though who could possibly get a word in anyway. But let's not dwell, because Derek is single, ready to mingle, and hot for Charlie's sports balls skills.

That is not allowed in the Sacred Knights of Trolling Krista. I think anyone that sacrifices a chance to get a free ride to school sucks. And his dad, I know she will try but I will never be on that piece of shit side. Any father that abandons his only son is a prick.

First! Though I am disappointed. We have another pool, but no descriptions of wet butts. I am ashamed... Derek doesn't like to talk about himself and Charlie is too self centered to ask. Where are Derek's parents? "You know, you could sleep in my bed" Both of these boys are crushing hard... Theory Number One: Derek could only get accepted at Cambon/Camdon/ whatever the fuck the school is called, because he was caught doing the dirty with the Gym teacher. His parents found out, now he has to take whatever school that would take him. I say bottom. At least we get a bit of backstory on Derek, a bit more about Charlie's dreams. But nothing about the boy's butt. We are only on Chapter Four, so at least they are in the same bed already, that's a good sign.

If so there should be plenty of wet butts for us to enjoy. And probably some smut, she was more adventurous in her youth I've been told. It wasn't until she grew up that she became such a prude.

First! So Charlie leaves the restaurant at 1 in the morning, drives right to work, an electronics and video rental store. We get a closer look into Charlie's life post divorce, post diagnosis, and it's not a pretty one. He's pushed his friends away, and hides behind his anger and worry for his mother. Julie is pushy, I still wouldn't call her bitchy. But she knows he's gay anyway, so that trope is gone, though she still could be in love with him so we'll see. But she does push him into calling Derek, who shows up homeless and renting porn DVD's to watch in the hotel room. Charlie's all alone, wants to watch porn videos too so he invites this stranger to move in. I guess we've figured out why it's called Good Guys FInish Last...key word finishing. I really hope we get to see wet butts in this one. But seeing how she's obsessed with them, I'm sure they'll make an appearance soon.

I didn't get Julie being bitchy. Kind of stupid, giving up a good college to go to a lesser one for a boy/best friend. Unless we're looking at I'm in love with my gay best friend trope. And if we are, awesome. WE'll see I guess. I was rather happy when I read graduated, and then I read gave up scholorship to play sports balls. Already miles better than Learned To Lie. Though here we have bigger balls to play with...so there is that if sports balls come back into the equation. Do you think Myr would let us form a real club The Sacred Knights of Trolling Krista? That would be awesome. Opps, I forgot to include @wildone Maybe he'd be down to join in.
