I’ve never tried that, but I can imagine it. I don’t have the same concern about the threading method. Having said that, the person doing it probably has a bearing on the ouch factor level.

Garlands are a nice touch. Previously, we’ve always had a 7ft tree, but there was a nice 6ft one at Canadian Tire that just happened to be on sale for half price so that was lucky. As it’s shorter and not as broad it will be easier for us to decorate.

We bought a new tree this year, too. Grunt work is in my future but not until the 15th at least, because my mom thinks mid-December is soon enough to decorate. I’m sure when tim is finished with it, your tree will be beautiful and very festive.

And reporting the villain to the authorities would be a good idea as well, so they can be stopped permanently - hopefully. I wonder when this happens do victims get their money back? I don’t think I’ve ever read about that happening even if the scammer gets caught.

My brother lived in that neighborhood while he was at uni, and I’ve been down there for the Ukrainian Caravan. It’s a nice area. Glad to hear you and tim had a night out with Peter.
