  1. @kbois 50lbs is an awesome achievement!
  2. Okay, I’m sure some of you may know this already. As for me, when I read the title (it was it my Chrome feed) I thought ‘how the heck do you do that?’ https://toriavey.com/how-to/how-to-seed-tomatoes/ Read the article and now I know how to seed a tomato.
  3. Never hurts to have a spare pair.
  4. The one I want comes with these gloves. Smart thinking on the manufacturer’s part, perhaps?
  5. RIP Ed Asner

    Sunday Poems

I find myself with the need to read these again and again some more to really feel what they’re telling me. I will leave you with this: How you manage to put thoughts into words like this is a marvel to me. I am in awe. As always, tim, nicely done. Edit: Take care, tim. xoxo
  7. Wishing your thumb a speedy recovery. When I get one of those things I also plan on getting the safety gloves along with it. Knowing myself, I just know it will be a good idea.
  8. 61 in Ontario, but it’s been raining - still is - all day. It’s supposed to be nice on Friday after more rain on Thursday.
  9. Loved this slice of life, molly.
  10. This made me smile. Thanks for that, tim.
  11. I like the idea of using the pastry blender. Having said that, the one we have is one my mom has had for decades. The metal “blades” are much thinner than the pic you posted - and which is what I’ve seen for sale nowadays - so I don’t think it would be a very effective tool for breaking up nuts.
  12. I like this trick. Thanks, tim. I haven’t tried this myself, but here’s a trick for breaking up ground beef as you are frying it. Instead of using a fork use a potato masher. Mashing and twisting the masher in the beef is supposed to make it easier to break up the beef into smaller bits than using a fork.
  13. Hang in there, rick. All my best to you and your brother.
  14. Not much for prayer, so I’ll send good thoughts her way.
  15. Very impressive, indeed. I’m guessing Ken forgot all about the dust on the floor after being hit by Oliver’s “lightning bolt”, eh?
  16. That had me from the first word, tim. Well done! PS: I wasn’t expecting Oliver’s response at the end, mind you. My curiosity is piqued.
  17. Congratulations to you and Justin!! PS: Thank goodness for technology!
  18. Oh I dunno, he sounds kinda crafty to me.
  19. My legs never talked to me that I recall, but I can distinctly remember the time they would only go up the stairs sideways. I’m guessing they were showing their displeasure about being worked too hard…
  20. Been there, done that, though I can’t remember now what “that” was. Good day to you as well. K.
  21. Very sensible all things considered. Edit: And that is it for me. Good night all…
  22. Give an inch and she tries for the mile. PS: That’s a hellavu long trip especially with many states on the route right in the middle of winter. She have a screw loose, perhaps? 🤔
  23. Good for her, but I suppose that means there will be further shenanigans in your future…
