They should have a smile “like” because this made me smile. Its not a gadget (oops, yes it is so say the dictionary ), but what came to mind is a heavy metal potato masher that I remember being around when I was younger. I hope we still have it, because it certainly got the job done. Need to root through a certain kitchen drawer. Oh, and @Ryan Jones has me wanting an ice cream maker...

Okay, so I was a little surprised after reading the definition. Baleful is a word that is rarely in my orbit, so I can be excused for immediately thinking of a certain member of the Seven Dwarves clan, right? 🤔 -

@Story Reader There's absolutely nothing wrong with calling someone by their first name if you know what said first name is. It’s sounds as if your sister wants to keep a barrier between herself and people she deals with. In all my years of working with patients - regardless of their age - I’ve only had one that insisted in being referred to as Mrs. xxx. Acknowledging someone by their first name makes the situation more personable/social rather than an us vs. them relationship. Just my opinion, but this way of interacting with people makes any situation more positive and fruitful.

Not sure - I just noticed it yesterday. I was going to check into it, but I got distracted by something “shiny” and forgot about it. Edit: I think I have a shield because I’m a moderator.

It’s good to treat yourself every now and again. My brother got his first shot of the Moderna vaccine a couple of weeks ago, and didn’t have/hasn’t had any side effects. I’ll be getting the Pfizer vaccine, but I have no idea when that will be, because the over 80s appointment sign up is only starting tomorrow, so I think I’ve got a bit of a wait for my turn.

I’ve started getting pop up ads only recently. As we are on different networks- and in different countries - the ad presentation may be a little different, but I can get rid of mine by tapping the x in the top right corner of the ad. I’m using an iPhone 7.
