We still have another Elder and his mate to come. I wonder what they will be able to add to this situation and group. Fran is a lot more developed that what one would expect for her age. I bet she is more powerful than any of them can imagine.

More mysterious disappearances is not good. I still worry about Fran and the woman in her room claiming to be her mother.

That was a lot less dramatic than I expected. I expect Carl will get a lot of new questions when he sees Simon next. I am wondering why no one asked if Elder who arrives soon also has a seer for a wife. They could also be in danger.

I agree with Headstall, Kitryn is very brave to announce they are mates at that moment.

Kitryn knew they were mates all along. Why didn't he at least attempt to educate Simon on the idea. Simon still doesn't know. Elder O'Conner was attacked, but we don't know what kind of supernatural being he is or who attacked him and kidnapped his wife. Was she a seer? Maybe the council will be drawn into this now.

Interesting how Carl was able to deal with Kitryn. The history and laws were a very brief part of the instruction. No mention of all the other paranormals on the council. I wonder what they are?

We've been missing you too, Texy. Garage sale prep is not fun, but the sale can be a lot of fun for the customers. I have had a few and visited many. It is not a thing here in Thailand, since a lot of things get shared around by family and friends instead of selling them. Chiang Mai only has 2-3 second hand shops in a city of over one million people.

The next chapter should be fun for us. Not sure about Carl, Kitryn or Simon though.

A very sweet moment of trust and affection. Too bad neither Kitryn or Simon can see what is growing between them. I wonder if Simon is also a seer, just not very well developed yet. It might explain the unremembered dream that left him with dread.

I think that Carl will begin to tease Kitryn for fun and to test Kitryn's mettle. It may be fun to watch, until Carl takes it too far and the fur flies. I too am wary of Mom's appearance, but Fran does need some help with her powers that Meg cannot provide. I also realize that some parents may be overprotective and limit their children's talents and capabilities. This is a very intriguing twist.

Simon's past was sad, but I think that everyone of his new family has had a similar past. They will know how to support him, because of their shared experience. I'm with the rest of Tim's gang and volunteer to round up a lynching party for Frank and his associates.

Carl may like to stir up Kitryn, but he needs Kitryn on his side as he helps Simon through his training. The story of Simon's turning was good, but I want to know why it upset Carl. Looking forward to learning more of Simon's history.

Kitryn is jealous. I wonder how long before this becomes an issue that both of them will have to face?

Simon needed to vent a little. Meeting the Vamp leader has him nervous for good reason. The Elder Vamp is an unknown. Simon and Kitryn are so oblivious and in denial. I think even Fran and the boys are more aware of their feelings for each other that Simon and Kitryn are at the present.
