Shit hits fan! Fergus will soon be past history. It looks like Jada may be joining the pack. Hope she can fully shift. There's only one cell for rabid wolves.

I can only hope that the situation will be resolved before I loose interest. Angst can easily kill a great story for me. I do like some of the suggestions of others, because they at least offer some hope. I don't believe in a life of hopelessness. That is truly hell in the biblical sense.

Me too! I think she needs to take on an Alpha Author we all know. I'd pay to see that show. 😁

I think the wolf in Sawyer will emerge when he is needed to protect Jimmy. The human will no longer fight the wolf in order to protect his mate. Where's Fergus when he is needed.

Defying Carlos and going all Alpha on him? Not a safe move. He has a lot of biker friends and CJ's gang can be very vicious when a friend is attacked.

@Mann RamblingsThe gold and silver strings between the boys was obviously devised by the author despite his protests. He is too good at his craft to randomly insert a detail like this without a purpose. The readers' responsibility is to devise a whole lot of different reasons for the detail, then decide which they like. After that the fun begins as readers gather more clues as whether to stick with their choice, or change to another choice. When the author decides to reveal the truth the readers can either smack their heads and wonder why they didn't get that (it was sooo obvious) or cheer that they go it right. It's why I love GA. Readers can participate and share ideas, then have even more fun following the story. Some of my ideas for the threads: 1. Silver before the first turning and gold after the first turning. Royal and Regis would have silver before their first turn and gold after. 2. Silver for beta and gold for alpha. 3. Silver for turned human and gold for born wolf. 4. Each wolf has an individual color for their personal threads. Colors can vary a lot. 5. Gold for the dominate and silver for a submissive in a couple who are true mates. I am sure that others can come up with other equally valid guess, but we all have guess and are waiting to find out, because each universe is unique to the author/creator. Great chapter in a great story.

That was a lot of poisonous guilt to be storing for so long. I can't honestly believe Mitchel was ever in love with Jimmy. That kind of evil betrayal is a sign of a very twisted mind. Sawyer will continue to help Jimmy heal and become strong. Excellent writing, especially the dialogue that must have been very difficult to write.

Fruits are very seasonal here for most , but some grow year round. Most other vegetables and plants grow year round. Most flowers grow year round, except for those on trees that produce some sort of fruit. Seasons are identified by the amount of rain, rather than length of day. Trees do lose their leaves once a year, but when is determined by species. Almost all shrubs have leaves year round. Climate zones only differ in the heights above sea level. Jungle forests change to pine forests as you get high on the highest mountains.

Sawyer is right! Jimmy needs to fess up and spill out his soul. He won't heal and be strong enough to protect Sawyer until he does.

The fight scenes were brilliantly written. Vincent is a terror when he lets out his true powers. I was glad it was only a sparring match and no one got hurt. Caleb was also magnificent. He used his analytical mind as an enforcer to anticipate Lewis' attack and counter each step of the way until he won. I was surprised that he demanded Lewis' attention and began by complimenting Lewis on the fight. I suspect that he was thinking of Tasha and Lowe when he worked to convince Lewis that changes could be made in their relationship. Lewis listened and learned. I hope he follows thru with his promise. It would be nice for Tasha to have her father back and Lowe gets to meet his grandfather. Vincent showed his true character in withholding forgiveness until Lewis proves worthy of the apology. Wagner is in a very dangerous situation, but I believe that Teddy's presence will help him stay safe. It looks like Cyrus is only waiting for one more piece of evidence to take down Harold. I hope we see that happen soon.

I miss the smells of temperate zone flowers especially lilac and daphne odora.

Fergus is disgusting and Granger is also. I assumed the covered themselves in shit to mask their scent. Then they have sex?

Very nicely written. I hope that the bonding the achieve with sex will strengthen Sawyer so he survives his first turn.

In spite of the presence of Fergus in the chapter, I really enjoyed reading it. Well written. I did like the way that Jimmy stood up to Fergus. I am curious why Granger reacted the way he did when Jimmy's name was mentioned.

I should have left one for you. Jimmy has a little over one week left, because the moon is in the third quarter, before he may have to murder Sawyer. He hasn't even told Sawyer that yet. I didn't leave the sad rating, because I didn't think you would trash a great piece of writing. I would hate to write a review about this story if that happened. If you like a Romeo and Juliet ending to a story, you will absolutely be ecstatically in love with the ending of this story. 😁 Great story and I am anxious to find out if Jimmy becomes the new alpha after disposing Fergus. I was surprise it was Irwin. I was betting on Granger.

Anyone else notice the smirk? Looks pretty satisfied to me. 😁

Probably a lot of wild and fun theories that we will all find out are....Wrong!

It may not be so in Mann's wolf universe, but in some shifter universes true mates are a gift of the goddess moon. If it is so in this universe, then maybe Sawyer has a chance to survive because he is already acceptable to the goddess moon. If not, then this story will end very shortly in a Romeo and Juliet fashion. I hated that play, not matter how beautifully it was written. Maybe I would have liked it if it was Romeo and Julius and they both made it out of town alive. 😜

The tension is really beginning to build as Jack's ghost warns Terry and Dan that their lives are in danger. He also said "they are killers" meaning that there are at least two murderers involved. I also have this little voice that keeps asking me who would Maurice obey when he is directed not to say anything about what he saw, but is not in obvious danger from that person? Were Brenda and Maurice somehow involved? We still don't know a lot about Colin and Silvia or the theatre historian that Terry has contacted. That person is not next door, but could be in a short time. Great chapter that keeps us guessing.

OK, I admit you got me with this one. Lesson learned? Don't skip reading the chapter title, and remember that Mrsgnomie is tricky and sometime the title is literal. All that angst over the week only to find out it was a medication induced nightmare. I do have to admit I had never heard of that happening, but realize that I too have suffered the same weird dreams when I have to take my allergy meds. Never frightening like Lorens, but definitely weird dreams. (Like driving all over town looking for a gas station, running into weird people and ending up on another continent. All the time, there is in reality a gas station 100 ft. across the street from my condo building.) The line that made me laugh the most was: It reminded me of one of those weird dreams. I think that Jay, Taylor and Derek had a great time together and finally have been able to talk about the different relationships they have with their parents. I know Jay will definitely support his brothers in the future. Dad and Mom are just going to have to make some adjustments and realize that they have a family home, not a commune. Great chapter that was so fun to read.

I think that Jimmy's instincts are on track and he needs to hurry to Sawyer's rescue.

Damn, I am beginning to like Shauna even though I am suspicious of her motives. She does fit the stereotype described by Fergus, but she helped Alice escape. Alice would be considered a loony if she tell about the pack, and is probably afraid of reprisals if she does. I hope her escape is successful. I now think that Granger, the bachelor beta, is probably the rogue. I hope he gets caught and Jimmy takes on Fergus.

Not what I expected, but it was an excellent chapter. There must be some redeeming qualities to Maddie to make Sawyer love here, but she has yet to show any of those qualities. She treats Sawyer more like a valuable possession than a son. I was very disappointed in her self centered, bigoted manner.

Fun chapter again. I'm not worried about Jimmy's lunch with mother. She has an established a longtime habit of taking in stray dogs. One wolf more or less won't phase her a bit. She'll be having Jimmy eating out of her hand in not time. Jimmy will love her too. He's a Mama's boy looking for a mama.
