Thank you. I'm so glad you liked it. I really like the writing prompts, but I have a hard time with an actual 'short story' with all new characters--I can see it ending up really long. So using my current characters is much more fun right now because I can whip something out pretty quickly. (I will have to see if I can try the individual stand alone short story... but I don't know, I might be too wordy for that!)

I haven't yet had a chance to read Joe the Welder, but I love Landfall (and now I see that Joe & Rex are going to show up in Landfall! I should probably stop and try to get to it next!). There's just too many stories and not enough time to read them all! I hope to get to it soon. I'm sure it's wonderful. I'd be interested in seeing which story you pursue next. Awww, they finally broke through their shyness. Love fiona, she's a bit of a hoot, coaxing asher to play like that and getting him to admit he's gay too, so they could face their feeling for each other. I'll have to move on to part 2 next. Thanks for the sweet story!

Thanks Valkyrie and Ron--so glad you are looking forward to it. Ron; I understand having a hard time getting through What No One Sees. It's a tough read. Reading the Neko shorts will shed a little light on some of the things that are alluded to in the neko sequel, so they'd be good to read first, but certainly aren't necessary. I can promise a happy ending... if that helps Faxity and Valkyrie: I'll see what I can come up with for Erin, Matt, and Avery! Thanks, faxity, for encouraging everyone to read the sequel!
