Thank you. I'm so glad you liked it. I really like the writing prompts, but I have a hard time with an actual 'short story' with all new characters--I can see it ending up really long. So using my current characters is much more fun right now because I can whip something out pretty quickly. (I will have to see if I can try the individual stand alone short story... but I don't know, I might be too wordy for that!)
Thanks. I thought it might be nice to share some of those healing moments... if I write enough of them, maybe I could work them into the story eventually. In the meantime, enjoy them! Thanks for reading it and reviewing!
I've never really been much into the 'insta' love or the 'insta' fix, be nice if life actually worked that way, but it doesn't. So glad you liked it! Thanks!
hehe, yeah, with the sperm donor out of the way, he can slowly begin to realize he's free and make new and better memories with Matt. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Of course Kayden is getting into trouble! hehe, so glad to give you something to look forward to. Hope it doesn't disappoint! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Hehe, I wanted to throw everyone a bit right at the beginning. I wanted to make sure Kayden and Damien characters show change and development and aren't just static characters. I hope you enjoy the story!
Thanks. I pretty much plan to do the daily update thing that I usually do (there may be a couple times I have to skip a day, but I won't make you wait too long!) I really hope you like it!
I haven't yet had a chance to read Joe the Welder, but I love Landfall (and now I see that Joe & Rex are going to show up in Landfall! I should probably stop and try to get to it next!). There's just too many stories and not enough time to read them all! I hope to get to it soon. I'm sure it's wonderful. I'd be interested in seeing which story you pursue next. The Lion's Lair sounds interesting.
He hit the ground. Hard. He gasped as something sharp pierced his side. Damn fucking rocks. The air whooshed out of his lungs before he felt an arm press across his throat. He felt his heart racing. He swallowed and felt the harsh press of the man's arm against his Adam's apple.
"Give up?" the voice above him seemed to float amid the dust stirring around them.
Kayden grit his teeth, clenching his jaw as his pupils dilated and focused on the grinning face. His small, lean body wa
In the sequel to Tears of the Neko, Damien, the duke of Marsten must journey to the mines to deal with a problematic overseer. When his feline lover, Kayden, comes face to face with nightmares from his past, will he be strong enough to survive them, or will he fall prey to his fears and their resolve to draw the Blood of the Neko?
Wow, I could feel Michael's heartbreaking. So very intense. Loved his parents, so loving and supportive! Gala he's mademail the realization that he is in love with kendall. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Prompt #388: First Line--"Snow? Again? How much more are they expecting?"
Snow?
"Snow? Again? How much more are they expecting?" Avery turned from the french door to the deck. The snow had started up again this morning, laying more inches on top of the eight inches that was already there on Mrs. Andrew's deck.
His blond boyfriend chuckled from the living room where he was flicking the channels from the news back to his favorite show--The Big Bang Theory. "Just another three inches t
Avery and Matt are starting a new life together now that Avery is free from his father's abuse. These are individual short stories with the characters from What No One Sees.
Awww, they finally broke through their shyness. Love fiona, she's a bit of a hoot, coaxing asher to play like that and getting him to admit he's gay too, so they could face their feeling for each other. I'll have to move on to part 2 next. Thanks for the sweet story!
Just started this story, and I don't want to stop to go to bed! I want an uncle like tommy! Can't wait to see what happens when they go explore the island.
Now off to bed for now...
Thanks Valkyrie and Ron--so glad you are looking forward to it.
Ron; I understand having a hard time getting through What No One Sees. It's a tough read. Reading the Neko shorts will shed a little light on some of the things that are alluded to in the neko sequel, so they'd be good to read first, but certainly aren't necessary. I can promise a happy ending... if that helps
Faxity and Valkyrie: I'll see what I can come up with for Erin, Matt, and Avery!
Thanks, faxity, for encouraging everyone to read the sequel!
