Prompt #378--list of words: gift, broken shoelace, brown coat, scarf, and a zebra ZeBra "Kayden! It's so nice of you to come visit with me today," Penelope smiled. She had her hand resting on her stomach as if instinctively protecting the growing life in her belly already. Kayden could tell she was excited about the baby. Harrison had been ecstatic when he'd rushed over to tell Damien. He sat down next to her as she fanned herself with the peacock feather fan that he had made for

I originally came here looking for the stories. I read several before deciding to join and make it easier on myself so I could mark them to follow and I could find them again easier. I think Paradox of Promises, Waiting in the Wings, and Weeping Lily were the first stories that I read here and came back for. Then I discovered several more of Nephylim's stories and was hooked. I had just started posting Tears of the Neko at two other sites, so I decided to post here as well. While I made a mess of trying to post it, Cia was so wonderful and helpful that it just helped solidify how nice the people were here. When I started posting the Tears of the Neko, I received soooo many helpful reviews that not only told me what they liked but also what bothered them or questions they had that weren't answered in the story. It's the reviews and posts here that prompted the revision of the Neko, making it even better! GA has now become my go-to site for posting. While I did post All In at the other two sites, they were a couple days behind the posts here. And the Neko Shorts are only available here. It's taken me a while, but I've also started joining in responding to some of the forum posts and status updates because I now feel so much more comfortable here. I've always been rather shy, so posting comments and such has never been really my thing. I mean, I don't even post on my Facebook. So my husband finds it amusing that I've finally found a place I can enjoy so much. I always refer to it as "my site" when I'm talking to him about what's happening. So thank you everyone! You have all been so nice and welcoming!

My favorite GA story is Damphir by Nephylim, because I really like fantasy stories. It is a different take on the vampire/were stories, especially with Glory having four different parts that make up his spirit, so to speak, and they each come out to help him when he needs it. Each fey part has it's own personality, even if the feline part is the most prevalent. But I also really like the Paradox series by In the Mind Of Sunshine, as I really enjoy the high school drama as well. I was just glad that the second one was close to being finished when I started it, so I didn't have to wait too long. It is so hard to really choose just one, though, because there are soooo many!!!!

Yeah, we have one of them down the street from our house. It's always busy with cars. They stuff for Halloween too.

Prompt #248--List of words: roses, rainstorm, deer, cake, chapel The Wedding Kayden was doing his best to stay out of the way. Damien was busy keeping Harrison calm before they rode in the carriage over to the large church. Damien said that Penelope and her family were already, as she was going to dress in the small side chapel rather than wear her dress over to the church. Harrison had paced the ballroom at the manor several times, each time harassing the poor servants and slaves over

Here's another one. Got a couple more in my Funny Gallery too... but they aren't so much images as sayings

hehe, that song annoys the bejezus out of my husband. So of course, it's the one we love to karaoke for him!

Prompt #340: The Nuptial Dinner
craftingmom commented on craftingmom's story chapter in Prompt #340: The Nuptial Dinner
Hehe, you are right. However, for here, as he's making a wedding speech, he's just being polite in front of the company, and he just says that his mother and father would bless the occasion. In all honesty, if his mother were still alive, she would never give up the pearls at all, but he's just being diplomatic and courteous because of the occasion, that's all. -

Thank you. Kayden is going to be a bit of a challenge in the sequel with his emerging confidence. I hope I do him justice. -

Hehe, exactly. And I did think about that briefly, but thought it better that Damien caused the mischief... -

craftingmom commented on craftingmom's story chapter in Prompt #332: The Tower of Confectionery Goodness
Hehe, yeah, I figured if Damien did it, Garin couldn't say much! And does show how much Kayden has changed Damien's life that Damien can be the laid back one for a change. -
Aww, how romantic

Hey, I realize that I read this a while ago (before I made an account)! It was very interesting and unique. It could definitely be expanded into a full story! Good job.

That is a classic one that my daughters keep singing

I heard this one once... Santa Claus Is tapping your phone (Sung to The Tune of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town") You'd better watch out, You'd better not cry, You'd better not pout; I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is tapping Your phone. He's bugging your room, He's reading your mail, He's keeping a file And running a tail. Santa Claus is tapping Your phone. He hears you in the bedroom, Surveils you out of doors, And if that doesn't get the goods, Then he'll use provocateurs. So, you mustn't assume That you are secure. On Christmas Eve He'll kick in your door. Santa Claus is tapping Your phone!

LOL. Oh, that was sooo good. I needed a good laugh this morning! Thank you!

Prompt #374: Shopping in Town
craftingmom commented on craftingmom's story chapter in Prompt #374: Shopping in Town
This would be world football/soccer (not American football). It doesn't make sense for a sport to be called football, if they use mostly their hands. I'm glad you are enjoying them. -
Prompt #332--First Line: "Try it again, and I will kill you." The Tower of Confectionery Goodness "Try it again, and I will kill you." Kayden pulled his hand back quickly, looking wide-eyed up at the growling chef. He wasn't quite sure if the man was serious. He certainly looked serious, standing there with the angry frown on his face, holding the large knife threateningly. But, he'd also been at the manor long enough to realize that the chef was always grumpy and growling at someone

I think it will stick with him. He's going to be both adventurous but still have some insecurities around unknown people, I think.Glad you liked it! -
