Are they the ones that oversaw the huge stockpiles of syrup only to find that thieves had been stealing the good stuff and replacing it with sugar water? The thieves would have got away with millions of dollars of stolen syrup but they got too greedy and just kept stealing it

It's interesting. I quite like it but I am in the minority in Western Australia so no daylight saving for me… I live on the western edge of the time zone so basically have that extra hour all the time. I got a bit of a shock when I realised just how early the sun sets in Sydney.

The smoke cleared a bit today. I didn’t realise just how close one of the bushfires was. I am not a fan of smoky seasons… A lower aircon bill is always a good thing

Kangaroo is quite a lean meat so you do need to factor that into the cooking. It goes really well with a red wine sauce

Luckily the flames were not an issue but the smoke is a pain in the proverbial. And the severe fire danger meant there couldn't be a bbq so no hot Aussie meat at all Crossing fingers it will clear over night and I can have a bbq tomorrow
