    @Headstall have we got an update on the Turkey situation? A world renowned Turkey expert was on the radio saying the wild turkeys are no good for eating, stick to store bought ones and you will have a merrier Christmas. Hopefully the hunters in your area will listen… Not really useful advice for Australia as we don’t have turkeys here

    A bit warm today but good on this side of the country. The weather is a bit rough on the eastern side. I do need to start taking the sun a bit more seriously - I already have a drivers arm tan That's what I should have asked for Christmas - sunscreen sleeves How are things with you?

    It was (still is) a warm day so I had some iced herbal tea - very refreshing And a LLB with dinner tonight. A mixed tasting plate of bits and pieces from my grocer - chilled chilli meatballs, marinated feta, a crunchy apple salad, some tabbouleh, smoked almonds and a smoked capsicum dip. A lazy no cook dinner I hope it’s all good with you and the family

    I wish I could say the same. The last time I did cursive writing was in primary school were it was compulsory. As soon as I left I printed and never looked back - still not terribly readable and it was gotten worse as I type more now but way better than fumbled cursive And just to prove the world is a crazy place, I took up calligraphy using chiseled fountain pens and it was neat, readable and even beautiful. My Mum couldn’t ever get over the two very different forms of writing
