  1. Cue the porn music! Our boy Shawn takes charge as an opportunity presents itself. College life can get wild! He seems ready for more; fingers crossed the director doesn’t register his sluttish ways as something abnormal.

    Chapter 25

Woo girls galore. Imagine the shock of poor Alec. You can take the bumpkin out of the country, but never the country out of the bumpkin. Still, he went back to his true calling rather fast, didn’t he 😈 I liked the Sinjin twist, it puts another level of depth to his mystery. All these actors, nobody is who they seem at first.

    Chapter 17

Imagine that. The boys finally opened up to their instincts. That was a fine gift from Sinjin, Gin and Sin. Even though we are constantly being bombarded by troublesome news, we live in a good place and time. Doesn’t mean it can’t be improved, but we’re also children of a lot of human development. A lot. That in itself is grounds for pause - it’s a beautiful thing we should be thankful for. With this gift the boys should at least have an inkling of things worth fighting for in the coming crucible. Fingers, as ever, crossed.
  4. So happy this story is back on! Meanwhile, I gotta catch up on your other story as well. More reading for me, and hopefully more vacation to enjoy for our author. Shawn better make sure his AI knows how to keep his radar emissions down! This is a foreshadowing of future trouble for sure.

    Chapter 38

Thank you ever so much for bring this tightly action packed story to its splendid conclusion! Just karma was served in heaps, and the Carters could return to a semblance of domestic bliss. Really looking forward to the next one in the saga and what the team is up to. Plus, what comes after that…

    Chapter 36

Saw that they’ve added the Pelligon to the Wintergarden since I was in that neighborhood. Of course, C19 and work from home, plus Brexit, means that Canary Wharf is struggling these days. I hope the UK regains its footing. Then again, New Orleans post C19 wasn’t the same either. Tough times. Templeman is really economical, whereas Andrew is lethal. Their combat styles differ greatly. The surprise of how Eleanor Rigby likes to play rugby was a welcome addition of some levity. Well done!
  7. I like how this story turned out. It’s like a pensive Bildungsroman that deals with growth. At the end Alarik is coming to terms with going from ever being the observer into taking a more active role in his relationships. Good for him that he could change a little along with the rest of the crew. Also, big kudos for the normalcy (for me) of the settings. Not everyone lives 24/7 on Miami Beach, or Manhattan. Big things happen elsewhere too.

    Chapter 14

There’s something about Hugo and Alec that reminds me of a more overtly rainbow coded version of Frodo and Sam. They should creep back into the library garden and give in to temptation instead of faffing about. The bigger adventure can wait for some buggery. Get it while it’s hot!

    Chapter 35

Carter’s disorderly conduct? The wheels are coming off the wagon for a lot of people, fingers crossed for Templeman, Dr Reed, the Carters, Ezra and all of the common people who has to carry the burden of making sure things stay on course. Fingers crossed.

    Chapter 34

Too bad it’s bloody difficult to keelhaul someone on a sub. I guess we have to resort to wishing ill on Bravo. Meanwhile, there’s still lots of foul play afoot, so it’s not in the bag yet. Image the surprise when Andrew et consortes are met by his most excellent sir lord Mason and his henchmen, and promptly frog-marched to gaol.

    Fisting Finn

Aww, it started almost blissfully with Jer-Jer and Kris acting all besotted. Then it got raunchy fast. When are Stef and Grand getting a cat? They can’t be upstaged by some New Englanders and their family dog. Props to Finn for getting back to the grind before the California dudes break out the wacky weed. It’s Harvard, not Berkeley so buckle up and do your work. Meanwhile - what’s Thor and fellow roommates up to? Will needs to get back to campus life, not just sleuthing. However, the mystery is deep.

    Chapter 58

Our team of husbands have settled down somewhat, enjoying the simple life with grandchildren. That doesn’t stop them from christening new additions to their space armada. As you do when you’re tycoons of industry with a few star systems to your name. Still, the guys need their chocolate fix and some city digs.

    Chapter 12

Imagine that. Getting stopped by a witchhunter and suffering from an uncooperative prospective boyfriend who won’t put out. Alec needs to unleash his inner violence on that s.o.b. Then take care of the puritan. He needs saving from his perpetual state of unarousedness.

    Chapter 11

Such a cosy moment between Hugo and Alec. This domestic bliss will not last forever, so good on the boys to make the most of it for now.

    Chapter 33

Well, Eleanor is an anagram of lone ear, so I hope she listens to Templeman! That said, it’s getting toasty now with all the chess pieces on the table and a fine mess to sort out. I’m getting antsy to see this resolved. Wouldn’t it be nice if Sinclair had to stay below the radar, living out his days in Newark? Anagram that! Both the UK and NJ versions are dreary.

    Chapter 32

I feared Ezra was Snagglepus, but he’s started to show some resolve. I still think that Sir Lord Mason the most inbred fits Dirk Dastardly. Muttley, of course is Sinclair.

    Chapter 10

Hugo you dolt. See a good thing? Grab it! Interesting that the boys are in a big city, yet seeking solitude. The way they fumble about solving the greater riddle means they have lots of time for exploring their true feelings for each other. Why do I have a feeling that Mr Sinjin and other players know far more than they let on?

    Chapter 30

If you advocate strict meritocracy in the wrong circles you certainly face an uphill battle. The in-group out-group dichotomy is very real. The wheels of economic pressures slowly grind the old notions to dust, but it’s fascinating to see how far incompetence and inherited capital can take some people. No parallels to real world events, or people, of course lest I’d be harassed by the powers that be.

    Chapter 30

Haha, old Blighty doing what it does best - arrogantly throwing caution to the wind. It’s only important that the same old Eton mess of people lacking any perceivable skill but their family names run the show. I can’t help but notice the parallels to real world events. It’s very much an endemic problem - not exclusively a UK specialty. The Carters are both in a fine mess now. It will take massive effort to straighten this out. Fingers crossed.
  20. The Torsten twist was unexpected, yet welcome. I think Alarik has much to offer, and it will be good for him. Wolf is a worry, let’s see what happens.

    Chapter 29

This is joyous! I wish you a successful recovery, sir!

    Chapter 8

I love that they’re getting into oily misadventures. You gotta choose place and partner carefully though.
  23. Mmm, he can practice his porn tips guzzling in order to get stronger. I see what you did there, that classic cheat code was a real trip down memory lane. Now, let Shawn try the Konami code during intercourse for extra points, power up mushrooms and extra lives. UUDDLRLRBA. Might hit the prostate just right…

    Chapter 8

Intriguing that Stoker, given a spare watch, was able to tag along. It must have a deeper meaning. Of course, he cures Hugo’s loneliness and takes him down a notch, but beyond that it feels like there’s a purpose to his presence. Plus, he’s a good lay, so at least there’s that. A multipass for time travel. Most handy.

    Chapter 7

On the discourse of Disco - bring the boys to a circa 1950s setting, with Martin Denny’s orchestra playing a tropical lounge, booze them up real good, and kick back to see what happens. Or, expose them to jazz, soul, house… the modern world is bizarrely diverse. Or, the near state funeral of Ozzy Osbourne (RIP). Now, that, would do their heads in. It’s interesting to imagine these two prehistoric bumpkins, straight out of a Jules Verne novel, trying to make sense of modern tools like computers, disposable lighters and fashion. Now let them ingest MDMA for a total hoot.
