    Time to write a story Asher! That beautiful name 'Sapphiro' just BEGS for a story! I miss the shorter tight shorts of my youth, similar, it sounds to what you had. They were dead sexy. I rarely wore shorts in those days, but when I did I'd often get a lot of 'I want to umph you' leers at the shopping mall.

    Oh good LORD this takes me BAAAACK! I loved him too. He reminded me of Sean Cassidy with whom I also had a crush at the time. Hard(l)y Boys, etc. 1970s hair. God it was gorgeous! I had a poster, just sayin' . . .

    It has since gone out of fashion as reforms have been put into place, from my understanding. I’m sure it may happen upon occasion, but not nearly with the frequency as it did back in ‘the good olde days’. It was not even as prevalent in the Victorian/Pre-WWI era as it had been in the times before that.

    Ah, Mon Chère, the 80s had their moments, both good and bad but the bads, particularly for gay teens, were pretty bad. I took solace in the music and the movies. They were good distractions. Interesting, Asher. I was also looked like that and was mistaken for a girl when I was ‘Boxey’s’ age. I just got confused, LOL. My Dad started getting my hair cut shortrer after that, even though kids in the 70s sported long hair a lot. There were times when I’d need a guy to turn around so that I could see what sex he was because the hair from the back would always be FABULOUS!

    Awwwww! Yeah, between Noah Hathaway being a cutie and Lamahl from Kajagoogoo doing the title song, I got hit both ways with Neverending Story. I was first introduced to him as ‘Boxey’ on Battlestar Galactica TOS. He and I are about the same age so when Neverending Story came out, Noah was 13-14 too. He became a real heartthrob in the 80s. Here is a collage of him from ‘Boxey’ on up to today. He’s ruggedly handsome these days. A classic ‘Otter’ My first 7 year old crush was Luke Skywalker himself! Especially when I saw him in this scene for the first time on 70mm film on a HUGE movie screen.

    Saturday, June 7th Nothing much to report. I’m working on an end of term paper for History class. When I heard I had to do a term paper in History my blood froze in my body. I HAAAAAAATE term papers! Not to say that I can’t write ok, because, as you can tell by now, I’m basically Charles Dickens .     I'm cooking one. There's been a lot of distractions due to Christmas, but maybe I can have something up by New Years. After this next one, I will switch off to Souvenir which is Brandon's prequel of sorts.
