Monday So, today was strange. Why is it when you get to a certain place in your life it’s like the universe knows this and starts throwing you curve balls? It’s just plain weird! Sunday I’m on fire! I literally feel like I’m on fire right now. . . He occupies every thought and every dream. I can’t stop thinking about what happened yesterday! Friday So, Billy seemed very distracted today at lunch. Billy, myself, and Sam had lunch together and we managed to do it without any of the weirdness from last time. But, Billy wasn’t talking much. He did a couple of ‘mmm-hmms’ and ‘that’s greats’ as Sam was talking about one of his latest enthusiasms. Something about a model he was building. I don’t know. I was more concerned with why Billy was being so quiet. Whatever it is, he’s not ready to tell me. Though that hurts a little

Oh, thank you for that vote of confidence, @HARRYWALTER! This story needs a good editing before I could even consider it for publishing, but I’m glad you think it worthy of professional publishing. This was a challenge to write, but very rewarding. It doesn’t get much attention, so I’m very glad that you saw fit to read it and enjoy it. Admittedly, this story was never going to be a happy one in the end though it does start a legacy that builds the ancestry for the character Brandon Temple that I write for the series Brandon Smiling. That’s why I have it set in the same universe as Brandon and Billy Chase (a creation of our late great @Comicality, may he RIP). In this way, there is an implied happy ending. The story of the Temples continues and it all starts with the love of Adrien and Cedric here in this ‘prequel’ to Brandon Smiling.

Thursday So at lunch today, Billy and I went to the lawn outside away from everybody so we could be together privately, just like I planned. It was so nice to be alone with him without prying eyes around. I let myself go. I just watched his every expression and his every movement. Hehehehe, I even watched how he breathed! I’m so sorry you had a rough go of it. I did too, though I didn’t attempt suicide. I just stayed in the closet most of my life and denied myself any chance of finding love. Chandler is the person I wished I’d had back in my teens. In an abstract way, I hope he become the person some of my readers might need when things are tough for them and if they are still afraid and in the closet. Wednesday Today, the tug-of-war between my fears and my love for Billy was tested…greatly! Getting to school, I waited all day through all my stupid classes for lunch to roll around so I could have lunch with Billy and be with him…fully…like I promised! The clock couldn’t have moved slower. What the teachers were saying couldn’t have meant less! All I wanted was time with my Billy! Time alone with him. Just Billy and me…so we could be in love with one another and not have to apologize

Seeing how he’s finished some of his stories, particularly his short ones, I think Comsie did want to come to conclusions for all his stories. He just never got there unfortunately. Yeah, I think kissed by an angel had one more drama part before it could conclude. The Tyler, Matt, and Sam angle would be a natural path for that just as you are referring to. The one that seems to be getting the most requests for an ending is GFD. That one I believe Comsie had a definite ending for.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, @Mattyboy. However, I’m up in the air about how to do a fan addition to any of Comsie’s stories. It’s a tall order to follow up on any of his stories! His voice was so unique. As I continue reviewing his archive, I become more and more sure of this. I’ll keep it in mind, though. I’d love to see how many of these stories end! ☺️

Tuesday So, it’s like this: I know from my Dad’s behavior last Thursday that I am not hiding my feelings for Billy at all well. I suppose, in a way, trying to divine where Comsie wanted to take GFD is a way of keeping him with me - trying to think about what he was thinking when he was writing it. I really appreciated his being in the Eternal Now of life. It was one of so many things that endeared me to him so and one of the things that made his passing so shocking to me.
