    The four boys are becoming a really tight group of friends. I wonder how/if Eric's other friends will fit in to this new dynamic. It seems like they've all been together forever but in reality it's only been a few days. Melanie was a real bitch. I'm not sure how she thought Rob would tolerate that attitude about his brother. Some people just don't think. From the sound of things she is going to lose not only her boyfriend but her friend as well.

    lol. Eric walking in on Rob was great. Rob gets burned by the unlocked door I really liked Rob's comment "are you going silly on me, bro?" I think Eric really appreciated the confirmation that although he is out and has a boyfriend now that Rob loves him and they will always be close.

    Jasper does seem like quite a grumpy bear in the mornings. I think they may need to give him a whole box of donuts to appease him. With my son it's not grumpiness as much as his brain not functioning properly until he has a shower and a cup of coffee He's more of a zombie than a bear. The age of consent talk was informative and funny. Nelson's relief was comical but realistic considering how sexually aggressive his underage boyfriend is

    The kid finally remembers to lock the door! The phone sex was great. They planned to wait until they hung up but their impatient libidos wouldn't let them. Who knew that awkward phone sex could be so sweet and hot

    i like the relationship between Eric and his dad. I've had those arguments with my son where we would suddenly start laughing. After the laughter we're usually more willing to listen to each other. I think talking to Rob and being honest about his sexuality and has really loosened Eric up for the uptight kid we met in chapter 2.

    Very clever of Nelson to get Rob out of his grounding - even for an afternoon. That was a pretty awkward "meet the parents" moment - especially while praying Nelsons parents don't mention being gone all day

    I think Rob really likes messing with his brother and throwing people off balance. He may be curious about guys - but it seems to be more as an experience than actual interest. I like that the boys had an honest sexual experience talk right away. And again with the door.

    So the teammate didn't know Rob heard him. Still a stupid thing to say anywhere near him. Eric's parents are great - and I understand their concern. They know Rob will protect his brother - but Rob can't be everywhere. "Yes Rob, please tell us why" Rob does seem to leave the door open for a lot of those questions doesn't he?

    Good for Rob. The people at that party were idiots if they didn't realize by now how protective Rob is of his brother. The now ex-girlfriend was also an idiot. After almost 2 years (?) together how could she not realize that Rob would not tolerate disrespect towards Eric. Maybe she thought being the girlfriend gave her a free pass? And those boys need to lock the door next time. Talk about awkward if that was Eric's mom.

    lol so I guess Eric is ok with Rob's meddling if it ends in a hot make out session with his boyfriend I like the give and take with the two boys. They are exploring what they like - and they both seems pretty versatile - when they get to that stage. It was nice of Eric's dad to cover for them. I think Eric's mom is pretty protective so she might not have reacted well to her baby being all alone with his older boyfriend.

    The Furballs have a great way to communicate over long distances in a split second. They can pass and share information - "discuss" problems and make decisions in a fraction of the time of "single minded" beings. It would also have to be even more of a blow for them to lose any members of that collective. Like losing a limb. I would imagine that is why they automatically trust Kyle when he says Jim isn't a threat. He is a part of that collective in some way now. I hope that collective thinking can find a way to help Kyle and Jim reach the temple before they run out of oxygen.

    Well now - how do the boys get out of this? I have a funny feeling they're going to end up back at Eric's house for the rest of the day haha. I like Jasper and Rob. They are both great guys. It was nice to have a scene with Eric and Nelson sitting with each other - wrapped in a blanket - at a high school game - and no one cared (well except Jas who was wildly happy for his friend lol)

    Not surprised that Tina is gossiping about Eric. People like that want the attention. It's great that Eric took the initiative and took Nelson's hand. It shows he is serious about this relationship and about coming out. Rob has a big mouth but he is clearly supportive of his brother. The "hottest guy in school" comment doesn't really faze me. I have two very straight friends who are comfortable enough with themselves to tease me mercilessly if they caught me checking someone out. lol

    I have never understood the desire to share your partner with someone else - much less a group - but to each their own. I agree with Dughlas - my dislike of that part of the story has more to do with not being crazy about the lifestyle than the writing itself. CJ is great at diffusing tense situations and making people comfortable. That is a valuable skill to have. Doc was calm, cool and collected when dealing with Chip. Good for him. I've met people like Chip before. They think that they can sweet talk their way out of anything. Too bad most of them never learn.

    I have to say I admire their restraint. 2 hormonal teenage boys alone together usually means a lot more bases being covered. Of course Jas showing up would pour a bucket of cold water on their fun. It's funny - Eric is younger but he seems to be the more sexually aggressive of the two.

    Nice cliffhanger Tim! It was cute how nervous Nelson was getting ready for his date I think it's hilarious that Jas has to dress him, but not all gay men have fashion sense. lol

    LOL the dreaded parent sex talk. My talk with my son was pretty awkward too. I wonder about that slight hesitation by Rob, but I wouldn't put it past a tricky author to throw a "red herring" out there just to throw us off

    Hahahaha Rob is such a great character. One of the reviewers said his desire to be helpful is adorable and hilarious. I could not agree more!

    Tina is a gossip and thanks to her Eric will probably be outed to the whole school by the end of the day. Good thing he and Nelson have each other now

    LOL Jas is working out to be a pretty good wingman for Nelson. I agree with some of the other reviews though - these boys need to be put in a room alone to talk.

    Rob is the older brother that any gay teen would want - supportive, protective and he loves his brother. I still say Rob could have a lucrative career as a gay dating consultant

    Great chapter! Rob seems like a well-meaning if "big-mouthed" brother. I probably would have punched him too . At least Nelson knows Eric is gay now!
