A few things really struck me in this chapter. Michael's concern about his baby not being accepted as Carson and Agnes' "real grandchild" - I understand that concern and although I suspected it was unwarranted I was relieved when Carson and Agnes were overjoyed with the news. Talking to Big Mike and Colleen - I was impressed Michael didn't bust not telling them about the baby right away Carson suggesting they move to Ontario - I knew it was only a matter of time. Carson has really re-evaluated his life and he would want to make his wife happy and would want to be closer to his grandbaby. Carson saying Kendall should make an honest man out of Michael - shows just how far that man has come

Happy Birthday Victor! (even if we may be a little early) 21 is such a great age. Enjoy it!

A very sad chapter. Adriano is going to have a very difficult time ahead of him. I can't imagine the pain he is going to be feeling when he wakes up and finds out his wife is gone. He is going to need all of his friends in the coming weeks and months. Doc was really thoughtful for shielding his friends from this for now. They are going to feel that pain soon enough.

I'm not usually in to poetry, but yours touches a chord with me - and probably anyone who has ever had a pet. These were touching and very well done.

It was good to see the early stages of their friendship/relationship through Jay. His perspective is a lot different than Mikey's. That is to be expected with Mikey's low feelings of self-worth though. The surprise worked out really well, but I wonder why Denny and Greg bailed out on them? Jay doesn't miss much and it seems he caught on to Denny and Greg's secret. Maybe they will confirm the suspicion in school tomorrow?

They have a baby on the way, great friends and now a home to raise their family. They have had a stressful week, but things are really looking up for them.

Great article. I'll have to be sure not to lower the gravitational pull of the earth next time I help a friend move furniture.

Prescott seems like an interesting guy. I have a friend who he reminds me of - including the leather. He is bi too, but seems to have a decided preference for men in recent years. I'm not sure who Prescott would be good with in the existing group - since you seem to be hinting that he might be paired with someone there. I won't bother to speculate further since authors love the response Tommy will recover. That is a good news. I think JP is going to have a grumpy bear to deal with when they do get him home though. Tommy doesn't strike me as the type who likes to be taken care of and will not stay put for long. lol CJ is coming in to his own and his ability to take charge of a stressful situation is admirable. Not many adults can think so clearly in similar circumstances. I have to wonder why Tommy's parents would bring a priest. I don't remember a lot about his background, except that i think he was married and had children. I assume his relationship with his parents is not great.

Not sure how I missed reviewing this chapter. Sorry about that. I don't think i can add anything someone else hasn't already said. The chief is going to eat those two cops for lunch. Their stupidity could put the chief's career in jeopardy and as we all know sh!# rolls downhill and there is no way the chief is going to let this mess stick to him. Now we just need to see how Tommy is doing and get an update on Adriano and his family.

The house sounds phenomenal. I love the look of a refurbished older home. The home you described would be an amazing place to raise a family. Knowing the prices in that area - it would also be an amazing deal for Michael and Kendall. I can understand Kendall's fear about the cost though. No matter how good of a deal the house is - that is a lot of money. Even with the cost - I think it's too good of a deal for them to pass up. Kendall's worry about where the baby would sleep and being able to hear and see him or her at night brought back memories. I changed the location of my son's crib and my bed a couple of times before I was happy that I would hear him if he woke up in the middle of the night

I just realized that I didn't leave a review yet. Sorry about that. Greg and Denny have done a good thing by baring their secrets to each other. They are starting their relationship with a clean slate and they will be stronger for it. Gregs brother was great in this chapter. He obviously really loves Greg and seems to want them to be close again. Maybe now that Greg is out to his brother they can be close again. I wonder what Jays secret is? He is really enjoying keeping Mikey guessing

Happy Independence Day to our neighbours to the south!

Really good beginning. Some minor grammar and sentence flow issues but the story itself is compelling. Everyone remembers the first day of high school and for most of us it was a day filled with anxiety. Good job Drew.

Tim: I have never found your writing to be dull. Just look at the following your stories have. Dull stories don't spawn "Team Rob" and "Team Jazz" t-shirts. CG: great interview and a great story. Sounds like you are putting pieces of yourself down on paper with every chapter. As readers we are honoured that you choose to share this with us. Carlos: your characters are decisive and refreshingly free of angst. Although your love of cliffhangers may cause you to be lynched some day
