What wouldn't I have given for Carter to record the conversation with Alex and show it to Aron, that would solve sooooo many problems (and create more, since there was reference to the bodyswap, s#!t) ... Great chapter, loved how honest Carter was with himself and Mark 😍

OMG Laura what are you doing to me? I saw this chapter posted and had to read it right away, not even showering beforehand (and that is significant, as hot water keeps disappearing the later it gets)! I'm totally anxious to see where this is leading. I think Klaus might have put the thought of going to university in Jakes head and he might just try to get in on his own ... And possibly be disappointed. Sad thought, hope it doesn't go that far and they make up in the meantime! Just a side thought on uni in Germany: semesters start 1.4. and 1.10., no classes start after Christmas. There are some exceptions, but still not fitting the Christmas time frame. Sorry to possibly throw that on your timeline

This story has been on my "to do" list since it was first posted but I got to reading it only last week. I thoroughly enjoy reading about Klaus and Jake's relationship. I have Jake slotted in the total "brat" category and I think he might quite like it in there If you are planning on putting in german phrases (I know some authors are very fond of doing that while others absolutely hate it), I'd gladly be of assistance in wording/authenticity should you need help with that Can't wait for more! Hey Ron, I've been a silent reader so far, but your work I've read is gorgeous! I just wanted to drop you a note saying how much I enjoy reading your stories. The reason I speak up now is that I found two instances of confused names for the twins in this chapter. Normally, the context makes such mistakes meaningless, but in this story they feel quite important with the characters being twins and looking alike. Hope you don't take my being silent or my speaking up now personally, I really like your writing style and will continue to follow your work Best, Nina

Even on the fourth or so readthrough you reduce me to a crying blob of agony. I was too young in 2001 to understand the enormity of this event and to this day I do not feel the devastation that many, especially Americans, feel. You make this into an emotional day and I feel with the family members, with the living and the dead and you masterfully describe the pain and the loss of loved ones. Thank you for being such a great author, I am sure it was difficult for you to write this. -
Love the new twist with that Dustin guy, even though JJ would have it much easier if he just talked instead of thought. Liked the insight into his mind. The plot seems to turn and twist with every chapter. Keeps us on our toes and the Schluters and Cramptons on alert for new info that might be useful. Thanks for the update, loved it!

Did you actually want to post the chapter today or did the new setup mess up again cause you wanted to post tomorrow morning (CET) like the last chapters? Hey Jim! Another great chapter in a great story. I think with the arson investigation being reopened it would be a tad bit suspicious for Josh to just disappear. By cleaning up they would stoop to his very low level instead of pleading self defense and having a clean cut. The dirty laundry would be aired sooner or later no matter what, so I think the best way would be to face the town now rather than being chicken and doing it later. They have friends there, they are not alone!
