Happy Birthday!

Hi. I have to say I am with you on the whole tv thing, I don't watch a lot but there are a few shows that I just HAVE to see. Buffy used to be one of them actualy, watched the series start to finish, it kind of got bad at the end so I'm kind of glad it ended before it got really horrible. Watched Queer as Folk a lot too, never saw the first few seasons though and I am trying to fix that. I am attempting to get a Blockbuster card so I can finaly rent some stuff that I would never ask my mum to get for me, turns out you need a photo ID to get one though, the only thing I have with a picture on it is my passport, it amuses me that I need my passport to get a Blockbuster card. Oh well, it can't be helped. Bye.

I think I love you a little bit now. I love Resident Evil, games and movies. Not being a gamer myself one of my favorite passtimes is going to my friends house and watching her play video games, especialy Resident Evil 4. Ya, I know I have no life, but what can ya do?

What do you call a submarine sandwich? -A sub What do you call a small tomato such as the ones they put on salads? -Cherry Tomato If you call a small tomato, does the vegatable respond to you? (Sorry, had to throw that one in for Zappa fans.) -... If you don't say "y'all," how do you stress that you are using the second person plural? Is there an intensive form you use (analogous to "all y'all")? -... never really thought of that before, sometimes I say "you" and "all" as two seprate words, sometimes I say "you guys", or "all of ya/you"... something like that. How many distinct meanings do you use for the word "poke"? -at the moment... I can think of 4 What do you call the small storage compartment on the right side of a car's dashboard? -I just say "put it(some object) in the dashboard" and everyone knows what I am talking about. Do you pronounce "-n't" as a distinct, semi-accented syllable, as in "could-dent"? -sometimes I do, other times I don't. How do you say the first syllable of "orange"? -or/ore... like for rowing a boat And then there could be a series of questions that zero in on when and how you pronounce the letter "r." -are/arrr... like a stereotypical pirate would say it, only not so long.

Water fountain all the way. And Tim, those fountains full of coins that you speak of are the water fountains that were at my school, not literally, but they all tasted like pennies. I really didn't think that quiz would cause quite this much controversy.

Happy Birthday! Woot, Kitties!

I have been meaning to watch that show for a while now, but I have not yet because I never remember what time its on. They show it on Showcase here.

Wow, never noticed they didn't add up before now. Wierd. Also, considering they don't add up, I am going to have to go with forgot or just didn't notice for anything that is left out. I have never heard those terms for an easy course, I have heard "bird course" or plain old "easy" before though. I use the term kitty corner for diagonal sidewalks, but for most everything else just diagonal.

So, I just found this quiz type thing and it amused me. I decided to poast it because I thought some of you guys might enjoy it too. Here is mine... Sorry to hear your sick, hope you get better soon. As for the parrot, you really can't untrain them. I have budgies, which can also learn to talk, not all of them but some. My sister would always yell at Buffy (my bird) when he would bite her, which was a lot, she would always say "bad Buffy!". Her bird Arora, who I always considered to be mine because she would never even feed or play with him, but thats besides the point... well he picked up on it and would alwayd be saying "bad Buffy!", then Buffy would peck at him. He used to say other things besides that and would always be chattering away but then one day he just kind of stoped talking, I don't know why, could be because we put a mirror in the cage, I think I read somewhere that mirrors discourage talking because they have something to chirp at. Although, after reading all those bird care books I have decided that they are full of s*** because I swear I do everything they say not to do or your bird will die and have been for the past seven years and Buffy is just fine. Arora died last year, he got really sick right before end of year exams. I miss him. Anyway, when he swears, just ignore him, don't give him the attention he wants, even if its just to tell him to knock it off. If he sees that saying it won't get your attention then he might stop saying it, its a long shot but might be worth a try. Also, about the writing, take as long as you need, if someone is going to get upset that your taking too long then its their problem. Kaitlyn

Bravo! Here's to 3000 more!

I have to admit, I kind of want to see it, just to see how bad it is. Chances are I won't though, there have been a bunch of movies that I wanted to go to that I just didn't had a chance to go to, so I doubt that I'll see this one in theaters, maybe I will rent it when it's released on dvd. Speaking of movies I wanted to see but never did and renting movies, I'm going to call my mum to see if she will stop at blockbusters and pick up The Inside Man for me.

I have to start out by saying I have to be one of the most ... not touchy people out there. I'm not good with physical contact. I think the last time I hugged/was hugged by someone was before Christmas at school, everyone stopped and looked at me funny, they were all like "Oh my god, you hugged someone?". The people I hung out with were quite the touchy feely bunch and gave up on me years ago. I kind of wish they hadn't, maybe if they had kept at it I wouldn't be so freaked out about being touched at all, let alone hugged.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Is the main reason you want a laptop so you can move it around and take it places or is that just a neat little extra? I have had horrible luck with laptops, they tend to get messed up easily and break. With desktops its easy enough to get a new part so if something in it gets messed up you don't have to scrap the whole thing(most of the time). If you are hell bent on a laptop the only thing I can say is to stay away from panasonics, they really suck. The toshiba laptop I had worked the best. I don't really like macs, but that said, I also haven't had much experience with them other then in jr. high, all the computers in the school were those little machines from hell. Thats just me though, I have friends who like them alot better then PCs, just depends on what you are used to.

Personally, I like them. I have wanted to get one for a long time, I haven't yet because at any place I would even consider getting one done you have to be 19 or over or they won't do it without parental consent. My mum would never let me so I still have a year and a couple of days till I can get one. I love piercings. My ears are pierced 13 times, 3 on the lobe of each ear, 3 in the cartilage of each and tragus on my left ear. I want more but for the same reasons as above, I can't. Scarification intrigues me. I am not sure if I would ever get anything done but the thought is there. I am all for anything that defies "polite society". A friend of mine recently got a tattoo, its of three red stars and they kind of look like they are falling. It looks good, the thing is his parents didn't know about it, they found a picture of it a few days ago and I believe their words to him were "you disgust me" and "if you had been home when we found this you would have been kicked out". They were serious, the fact that hes gay probably didn't help, they don't like that too much eather. Another friend of mine got a pink ribbon on her wrist because her mum died of brest cancer.

Happy Birthday James!

Ow, that has to hurt. I NEARLY did something similar to that only instead of a nail it was a flat head screwdriver, wow those things are dangerous, it just nicked the side of my hand but if it had been to the left just a bit more.... well you get the idea. Get better soon, and next time, how about you put the power tools down next time there is a cute guy around, at the rate you are going it might save you a limb, or at least alot of pain and trips to the emergency room.
-
I'm not sure weather I have DSL or broadband, and at the risk of sounding stupid.... what is the difference between the two? Also, I have a laptop now, but that could be changing to a desktop soon.
-
I also have a real problem with reading things when they are writen like that. Usualy when I start reading something where the author has over done it I only get through about a page before I get fed up with it and stop reading. Bardeara, I notice that too, and as someone who uses the word alot, I find it quite annoying when it is over used on T.V. or in movies. Being reminded of how they speak or where they are/are from is ok, as is throwing in a BIT of slag (where appropriate and used right), just don't over do it.

It worked, thanks so much. I NEVER would have figured that out, I am compleatly useless when it comes to computers. So, again, thanks.
