Nope, just getting over a cold actually. Hope you feel better soon though, being sick sucks. The person below me continues to buy their pets nice toys to occupy themselves with, but every time you do they just destroy them. I'm sitting here watching my birds tear their little play gym thing apart, there are already large chunks of wood missing from it. The only one not doing it is Finchie, but thats only because she is too small.

Nope, but I did make extra so that the next meal I eat here will be leftovers, If nobody eats it before I get a chance to. The person below me is pretty sure somebody is going to steal their leftovers.

I have, I refused to see any of the movies before I read the book for it. The person below me is seriously thinking of getting a new job.

This became an issue last year at my school when a friend of mine checked off the little "have you had sex with another guy?" box and couldn't donate. The GSA at my school got all ready to send a nasty letter to blood services about how stupid they were being. Thing is that blood services doesn't make the rules, nether does the red cross, it's the government. No matter how many times that I pointed this out to them, brought it up when they were whining about blood services, or reminded them that my mum works for blood services so I do actually know I am right about this, they ignored me and continued to talk about that letter they were going to send to the wrong people. They never did send it, not because they suddenly realized they were going about everything the wrong way, but because they were a pathetic bunch of people that never did go through with anything they planned to do. I could go on my little rant about my schools GSA, but I am pretty sure some of you read it already and don't really want to hear it again. Anyway, if you want to complain to someone, complain to the right people, not the ones who are just doing their jobs. Good for you Kurt for giving blood, everyone who can should, it's needed no matter where you are. And who knows, maybe you will need some at some point in your life and you will be happy you were able to help someone else.

Not that anyone really knows this but I am a complete sap when it comes to stories. I tend to avoid anything that is labeled sad or just had that 'this probably isn't going to end well' feel to it within the first few paragraphs. Depressing storied tend to make me feel more down then I do normally, so I am going to say happy endings for me thanks. But, as James said Thats true too. This has happened to me more then once. I would get into a story despite the fact that I knew it wasn't a particularly happy story and wouldn't end well, then at the end it would just fall apart because the author somehow managed to twist it around so that everyone lives happily ever after and I'm left there thinking 'wow, they just managed to completely ruin a good story'. I'm all for happy endings, as long as they go with the story.

It's finally here! It's been a long time coming but it's good as ever. Great story Dan.

I REALLY want to see it... but I can't yet. I noticed it mentioned on this site and then went to chapters while waiting for a friend to get off work, noticed the book, and read it for about an hour and a half. I really like the book so far and refuse to see the movie until I finish it. I did the same thing with Lord of the Rings. Eragon, along with Eldest, are on the very small Christmas list I gave to my mum after she bugged me enough about what I wanted. The list was very short, five books, so I am hoping I get at least those two. If I don't then the first order of business after Christmas is going to buy the book.

That's this weekend? Woot. The person below me does not feel well.

That would be my grade 11 gym teacher damn near all the time. When my mum was in high school she had a teacher who would go down to the pub during the lunch period to get drunk. The person below me wants a kitten but can't get one. I have too many birds to get a cat, and I would like to keep them all alive. That doesn't stop me from wanting one though.

I would. The person below me got the urge to move everything in their bedroom around this morning and hurt their shoulder in the process. Ow.
