Chapter 36 - Many Reasons To Celebrate
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 36 - Many Reasons To Celebrate
Excellent chapter. I’m glad that the three collage boys had graduated with Summa Cum Laude each one with a gpa of close to 4.0. Josh wasn’t prepared to see the notation in the program for the 3 graduation ceremonies, he wondered why he hadn’t been told about it before and they each stated that they had to do that well so they would be able to continue on with their further schooling in their respective courses. They informed everyone that they would be doing some course work during the summer so that they could graduate early from their programs. Then they had the high school graduation ceremony but before these ceremonies Josh was asked to attend the retirement party for the school district and he accepted, he enjoyed the opportunity to talk with the people who he had worked with throughout his career with the district starting as a teacher. Josh planned to have the graduation parties together since they were so close to each other and then they had the commitment ceremony on Sunday afternoon. I can’t wait to read how it goes, and if they have any problems from the congregation like they did when Josh and Jake had theirs. -
Give It To Me Straight - Chapter 1
Butcher56 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Give It To Me Straight - Chapter 1
Very interesting chapter and beginning to the story. I think Silas is a bit of a dreamer if all he thinks about is getting Ricky to be with him or Jamie. I think Ricky might be attracted to Jamie because he’s always trying to talk to him and smiles at him a lot and when he came near Jamie and Silas at the party he told Jamie hello and then Silas introduces himself to Ricky and he just walked away even though he was smiling over his shoulder. I’m willing to bet that Ricky & Jamie wind up together at some point. Can’t wait to read what happens next. -
Another excellent chapter. Welcome to the newest member of the family Joshua Alexander Currie, Dion is just like any first time fathers who are unsure about what to do when the baby cries. Between Dion and Trey I think Joshie is going to be spoiled by his dads before their weekend trip home comes to an end. I’m glad that they have Josh available to care for Joshie while they’re both away at college. Between Josh, Jake and all of the uncles and aunts Joshie will be the center of attention for awhile, I’m sure some of his uncles are jealous of his equipment since he’s so well endowed even more than his dad was when he was that little.

Awesome chapter. I’m thinking that Greg and Julian will be a help to Discover Project, with their backgrounds in the police and fire services, they could help to set up surveillance and also possibly upgrade the fire systems as well as set up fire system in the house. The sudden storm might just give them the opportunity to get their first clients because they’ll be out in the storm as they have no where to go. Great story so far I can’t wait to see how the story goes on from here.

Another fantastic chapter. I’m glad that Marie called her dad and told him not only about the baby but she wanted to come see him and her brothers for thanksgiving and she was bringing Nicky and Jordan as well as her children. I can’t say as I blame Jesse for the way he’s not backing down on the fact that he wants Josh to adopt him so that he’s able to stay there even though his mom wants him back he said he was willing to see her and ask her why she would give him up instead of both of them leaving John. He also wants to know if she knew what John was doing to him and if so why she would pick John over him. I hope that this meeting goes as well as Josh hopes it will with Jesses mom especially when she hears Jesse speak to her. I’m glad that Steve is going with Josh, Jesse and Andrew to Philadelphia for the meeting with Jesses mom.

Chapter 10 - One Strange Board Meeting
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 10 - One Strange Board Meeting
I do forgive you, mainly because it’s the right thing to do and also I understand that everyone has been through tough times as well. I may have made the comments when you were without a computer due to yours breaking and it took awhile to get it repaired or replaced. I’m still enjoying the story and I hope that all of the characters will continue to be close to one another and I hope that Josh’s biological children will come around and stop their bigoted ways this is taking a great toll on his heart because he misses taking to his grandchildren. -
Awesome chapter. I’m glad that everyone is doing well after the scare of the fire. I’m glad that they thought things through enough to add a rooftop sprinkler system just for this reason, Nathan activated the sprinkler system and was able to save the Sanctuary from being closed before they even got up and running.

Chapter 33 - A Confession And A Revelation
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 33 - A Confession And A Revelation
Another excellent chapter. I was hoping that Jesse would start to speak eventually only it took Andrew getting hurt after the front wheel of his bike came off causing him to go over the railing and down the embankment of the ravine. If it hadn’t been for Jesse doing his best to get Josh to pay attention to him when Josh kept telling him not right now because he was busy Jesse spoke his first words saying that Andrew was hurt. Now Andrew has heard him speak and was shocked by it as no one knew if he would ever speak again, he wakes up and Jesse asked him if he was going to be alright. I hope that Andrew can forgive Little Ricky for trying to get back at him for the pranks he was doing to everyone. As he told Josh and Jake he didn’t mean for Andrew to be hurt by his loosening the nuts on the front tire of Andrews bike, he thought if he noticed it start to wobble he would just walk it back home. -
Chapter 27- Much To Do On The Home Front
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 27- Much To Do On The Home Front
Another fantastic chapter. It seems like Nick has finally learned that just because you’re horny doesn’t mean that you can go around having sex with just anyone. I think he’s learned it the hard way after finding out that he had genital warts on his return from Brazil where he was a foreign exchange student. While he was there he started out having sex with his host brothers and then some of their friends and even guys at school and during the trips he took before he returned home even though he was warned that Brazil is one of the leading countries where HIV is very prevalent in both sexes but more so in the gay community. Nick was told it would be best if he abstained from sex during his time there especially if he didn’t have any supplies he needed to help protect himself. He’s tested negative for HIV so far but that doesn’t mean he’s not at risk of getting it either. The first chance Shannon and Nick got to go off to have some time to themselves Shannon was the one who was wanting to have sex even after Nick told him that he had learned that he was using sex to just make himself feel better only once the glow subsided after he came down from his orgasm he felt like he needed to have sex again only after speaking to someone who Josh recommended to talk to him about his desires to have sex all the time was actually a cry for help that he needed and he said that the sessions helped him quite a bit. -
Chapter 125 The Boy from Neverland
Butcher56 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 125 The Boy from Neverland
Fantastic chapter. I think it’s great that Robbie has someone who is trying to get him to be who he’s going to be with or without Don causing him problems. I think Connor is going to be very good for Robbie and I believe that he’s finally starting to get the idea that Connor really wants him as a boyfriend. I hope that Don doesn’t start causing more problems for Robbie now that he finally seems to be able to talk to Connor about things he’s done in the past as well as finding out that he’s not the one with a problem other than Don and his bigoted attitude about gays. I can’t wait to see Don get set in his place by Jo especially when Robbie tells her how he blocked Connor from sleeping over even if it was in his old room and bed that is on a different floor. -
Chapter 18 - An Easter Surprise
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 18 - An Easter Surprise
I truly believe that Jesse will be in the best place he could be in by staying with Josh, Jake and the others at the Castaway Hotel. I’m sure that Josh will figure out a way to get the help Jesse needs and that he’ll eventually come around and start speaking again as he hasn’t spoken at all after his father was killed in a drug deal gone bad. I’m positive that Josh is going to make the right decision for Jesse especially after he speaks to Sally and Steve about the situation he was in and his fathers death that he witnessed which is why he stopped speaking. I don’t think it helped him being around his stepfather who was verbally abusive to him by calling him stupid names which I’m sure hurt his feelings. -
Great chapter. It seems like Andrew has a big crush on Chris, I think if they had been alone they wouldn’t have been able to watch the movie much because they would have been doing other things. I hope that the more they get together the more Andrew will be more relaxed and not stumble over his awkward feelings he has for Chris.

Another fantastic chapter. I’m glad that Josh was able to get the insurance company to send an adjuster out so quickly after he called letting them know that a big tree had caused quite a lot of damage to the house and after the adjuster had done what he needed to do it was shortly after that the work to remove the tree and start the repairs and additions that he wanted done. The wood from the tree was cut up and then split and delivered to the farms now owned by the foundation as they had wood stoves as additional heating. Then Frankie left for basic training to begin his career in the military police since he was interested in a law enforcement officer career, this would give him an additional opportunity over anyone else because of the fact that military personnel are given a priority in hiring. I’m glad that they weathered the storm well and were somewhat prepared for it in case the power went out which it did, everyone brought out their sleeping bags and put two of them together and they buddied up for extra warmth. They were able to cook with the gas grill they brought into the kitchen.

Fantastic chapter. It’s great that they all pitch in when needed to help the others out. Since Danny and Brandon are going to be at Penn State for parents weekend the others agreed to help watch the boys while they were gone. Wyatt has tonsillitis now and he has to miss some school while Danny keeps an eye on his recovery and makes sure he doesn’t need to have his tonsils taken out, he’s getting popsicles, Jell-O and soups to help ease his sore throat, he’s also getting children’s Tylenol for the fever. Becky has decided that she would take Tristan for both Friday and Saturday and then he would go home after church on Sunday. Josh said he would take Hayden and Hunter to see their mom on Sunday. The haunted house is coming together as the boys doing it are getting it together and making sure that it all goes as planned.

Chapter 20 - The Verdicts
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 20 - The Verdicts
I’m glad that the 4 young men were found to be not guilty for beating David Hubbard so much that he’s paralyzed from his waist down. As I was reading about it I kept thinking there was no way that they would do something like this because of the way they were raised after coming to live with Josh. For one thing they hadn’t seen or even thought about Hubbard since the school board meeting two years ago and then the work they did to cut off a lot of the funding for the Boy Scouts. What would they have accomplished by beating Hubbard the way he was, especially after not seeing him for just over two years? The thing that helped them the most was after the witness for the prosecution said that he saw the guys in the grand am at around 9 pm and that he was going back to see if his friend had car trouble, and he supposedly saw the four guys driving the opposite direction. Once this was caught as to what he said when they left the court house for lunch the guys started telling Josh what was said after he realized what they were saying he asked Jake to take everyone to lunch while he ran some errands and he would meet them back at the court before they were going to start the defense side of things. What Josh did was to get Mark from work and then take him to the house to get some paperwork he needed to have when they went to court. Once they arrived Josh was going to talk to the lawyer about the new information that was delayed a few minutes because the judge came in, after asking for a few minutes the lawyer listened to Josh about the new information and then he called Mark to the stand and he stated truthfully that he had to use the grand am to attend a conference in New York for his job, once this was done the lawyer decided to rest and then it was up to the jury to decide whether or not the guys were guilty or innocent. The jury was out for a short time and they came back with not guilty verdicts for all four of them. I don’t think this is the last time they have problems with Hubbard and his friends. -
I agree with you Bill in that it’s very hard to watch someone who is suffering from Alzheimer’s or any other disease that affects the brain in the same way. My grandmother had a form of Alzheimer’s that she remembered me and my sister but not my cousins or her grandchildren, when I spoke with her at times she would ask me about my son and his health. Also she would ask who others were if I was at her house and they came to see her. I know what it’s like to work with people who suffer from Alzheimer’s because I worked as a housekeeper for a nursing home that cared for these people, we had one resident who used to be a housekeeper for the state hospital before she started having problems with her memory, we had to constantly check on our cart because she would take it or take rags and start wiping down tables that had already been dusted and cleaned or she would try to take the mop and mop the floor only that was the last thing we did before we finished for the day. I noticed several residents who never had any visitors as their families just couldn’t find the peace of mind to see them. These people suffer from not having anyone who would come to visit them, I would go in on my day off and spend time with them and listen to their stories about their lives, this was the high light of their day.

Chapter 40 - Our Worst Nightmare
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 40 - Our Worst Nightmare
What an emotional last 2 chapters. I admit I cried a little when Brent passed away from the accident, I have really cried while reading the last 2 chapters. The death of a child is one of the worst things any parent should ever have to go through, I understand the saying that Josh uses a lot “life isn’t always fair”. I think this is going to be especially hard for Graham since they were so close, I’m glad that Josh allowed him to come with him and Cody. I don’t think Graham would have forgiven Josh if he didn’t allow them to be together when the end came for Cody. This time the grieving process is going to be worse because Cody was sick most of the time he was with them and he struggled with the cancer as long as he could but he knew that he didn’t have long to live. I’m glad that the doctor was as patient with Josh and he answered his questions truthfully and he even told Josh he didn’t like the way the tumors were growing more and more as well as the infection Cody had in his brain that caused him to have seizures. -
Chapter 36 - Apprehensions
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 36 - Apprehensions
Awesome chapter. I certainly can understand why Graham is being the way he is about going with Josh and Cody when they go to New York because he doesn’t want to not see him alive again. I hope they get better answers in New York for Cody because Graham is usually never wrong in his gift. -
Chapter 28 - Mixed Messages
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 28 - Mixed Messages
I completely understand the feelings that Andrew had about the charcoal picture of Cody, not wanting to ever forget the way that he looks. When Andrew finally got the reason why he drew it as he explained it to Josh he thought it was the most amazing thing that he could do for him. When they told Cody about the picture he said he wanted to see it, Andrew told him that he could see it tomorrow at school in the art room. I love Cody he’s a very special person and he is very lucky to have Josh and his brothers for his family, and he knows it. -
Chapter 25 - Cheers And Fears
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 25 - Cheers And Fears
This was a great chapter to read even though it was as well written as all the others this one stands out because it shows the dedication that Trey put into the work of writing the script has paid off at least on the state level for now and hopefully it will also win the regional award as well. The fact that the newspaper wants to do a special article about the award and the author of the script as well as the cable company saying they want to run the film again and also do a interview with Trey and Josh says that they are supportive of the efforts that Trey put into the script. -
Fantastic chapter as usual. I’m glad that the birthday parties were a success and the next item is Halloween and the haunted house. It seems like it will go over really well with the community and it’s different from other years as Ryan has found some things that will help change it around. I’m glad that Julie is doing well in the nursing home and she has a very nice room mate, she seems pleased that Hayden and Hunter are keeping their fathers last name as their middle name when they are finally adopted by Danny and Brandon.not only are the boys remembering their father but they are also adding another way that keeps them twins. Even Holly is even excited about the adoption since their mother is going to allow it after she spoke with Danny and Brandon about the idea.

Fantastic chapter. I’m glad that Kohen had enough sense to hide some weapons in the cabin he was going to share with the captain. After convincing Chomper to hide Kohen grabs his weapons and a couple of protein bars and with Danie’s help he made it to the bridge where the captain informed him that there were more traitors among the crew. It’s going to be a very messy battle to keep Chomper safe and out of prying hands so he can’t be used against them. Congrats on chapter 100.

It was great reading about Chipper when he first started singing as a child, I don’t think it helped any when Christina grabbed a bit of chest hair when he was asked a question by Carson Daly. I’m sure that Chipper enjoyed the time he got to spend with Carolina and Christina while he was in California as well as when he returned to Miami to get back to school.

Awesome chapter. The Santuary is going to be a great place for the homeless children to stay at as well as get caught up with their education. I’m glad that Hunter and company have the support of the board of trustees who will be the financial support needed to keep everything running once they finish cleaning everything and getting it furnished. Once the cleaning and furnishings are in place the trustees can return to see the lower level. The board of trustees have been questioning their sons about the sanctuary for awhile and that’s where the idea of a board of trustees came from as it is made up with the parents of the 4 original guys who came together to clean up the place as somewhere to go to get away from the stresses of their jobs. The financial support comes by way of $20,000.00 per quarter which will really help get the project off the ground so to speak, it was suggested that the property be set up in a trust so that the project will continue to operate no matter what. I can’t wait to read more about the project as they continue the work that they started and start getting the homeless children to start coming in, I think Hunter and Jonah should move into the house that’s attached to the warehouse via the underground passageway.

Chapter 124 The Assessment
Butcher56 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 124 The Assessment
Fantastic chapter. I’m glad that Robbie has Jo for a counselor and she’s trying to get the issues with Robbie and Don sorted out although I doubt that will ever happen. Robbie was surprised to see that Jo knew Ginny when he ran into her as she was coming out of the auditorium, then Jo put the pieces together about Nathan after the conversation about whether or not Robbie was coming to the play. Jo told Robbie to tell Connor about what happened with Alex, he said it wasn’t easy to tell him about that. She said he had the right to know if they ever were going to continue dating. She also told him that she was going to schedule an appointment for him with a doctor about his not being able to get a hard on. When Robbie called Connor over Skype he asked him if he wanted to come to see the school play of Peter Pan with him on Thursday and he could stay overnight if he wanted and they would be able to talk afterwards. They even made plans to have Robbie come over to his house Christmas night and he could stay overnight and even in the same room with him, which would give his parents a chance to meet him. When Jo took Robbie home she got out and Robbie introduced her to Sue and when Sue invited her in for some coffee she declined saying she didn’t have time and that Robbie was doing fine but there were some issues holding him back and she was worried about them. When Jo was asked what she was implying she said there were issues with his home life that were holding him back and Sue asked if she was talking about Don and Jo said that he needed to get some help himself and that if things don’t improve she would have no choice but to remove Robbie from her care.
