  1. hehe, thanks. i see Him a lot actually. LOL. It was nice to get out of the house for awhile and walk around without getting heat stroke. Hope you doing well. xo
  2. Us too ... this is just a little surprise before the heat and humidity return. That's summer in Toronto and surrounds. Thank you xoxoxo Hope all is well with you. Thank, chris! xo
  3. Thanks all of you! My FIL in now in the hospital as an in-patient. He collapsed at home and my MIL cannot get him up easily so she called 911. Now, the hospital he's in will transport him to the other hospital for cancer treatments, while he's an in-patient. So, that's a huge thing. Docs are trying to figure out what's going on with the tia's/mini strokes or whatever it they are, and they will get some physio for my FIL as well. So, hopefully, things will improve. And speaking of getting better, this is for @mollyhousemouseand anyone who is learning new things and making it work!! My Husband is taking me out today and we'll get some lunch and chill a bit in the much much much cooler temperatures today. Have a good Monday all. xo
  4. Thanks you two. it's just more on top of what he's already going through. We're doing okay xoxo

    Coming Home

Don't. Leave them. Our old stuff is just that... old. And we've moved on and learned. Our old stuff is our history and personally, unlike some countries, i don't believe in rewriting history. It's never good, or the same, the second time around. xo

    Coming Home

Nice. You know what i'm thinking though...however, i'll refrain as it won't change this feel goodness of this story. If you understand this, you've known me too long.

  16. Aw, honey. you may not realize it, but you've always changed. It may not have been dropped in your lap by your boss, but you've always done it. you've raised a family, run a home, looked after your Sir. you took me on as well. you can change, but you need time to make it work in your head. Write a list of your duties. Try and envision how a new day could look on paper. Write whatever is in your head, down so you can see it. Meditation too might help. And there's this odd little page i found: https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/how-to-gracefully-accept-change/ i sort of liked the message there. i know you can do this. you will find your way. Just be gentle with yourself.
