i was. i was really out of sorts today... the office is nice and new.. nice desks and stuff .... but i just felt wrong ... but it was nice to see people and that.. but i didnt get much work done. No one did really. Anyway. we go back in 4 or 5 weeks. it'll be easier next time.

It worked again, Kitt! First visit back to the office in 2.5 years, it was okay, but no twit customers.

it worked, Kitt .. only one twit .. .who decided suddenly at 11:19am he needed mortgage info emailed to his lawyer..."AND I CANNOT REACH ANYONE" I shouldnt have to wait .. i am the most important person in the world and i should be served before all the others in front of me. Aw, honey. you may not realize it, but you've always changed. It may not have been dropped in your lap by your boss, but you've always done it. you've raised a family, run a home, looked after your Sir. you took me on as well. you can change, but you need time to make it work in your head. Write a list of your duties. Try and envision how a new day could look on paper. Write whatever is in your head, down so you can see it. Meditation too might help. And there's this odd little page i found: https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/how-to-gracefully-accept-change/ i sort of liked the message there. i know you can do this. you will find your way. Just be gentle with yourself.

i hear you ... we're in different imperfect countries.. but reading and hearing about what's happening in the usa right now.. well, it makes me sad. i just don't understand the fear and hatred we hear of. Not that we dont have some of it here but it seems different in a way. We have a lot to work through as well. xoxo

The world is filled with many kinds of families, isn't it? This story is very old .. you've been digging into my historical works! It's among the first stories i'd ever written. It kind of makes me cringe but history is there to remind and teach us, so i leave the old things up untouched or changed for that reason. Thanks for reading this and for your kind comments. tim

it was wonderful today ... really did not feel well the on Sunday. All the windows are open here but it's harder to cool down the apartment than a house it seems. July can stay away...lol Thank you, it was really nice to go out. Peter (nephew) and Jess (the boyfriend) have been together going on two years now. They don't live together but they are talking about it. Peter wants to soon but Jess wants to pay off student loans before doing that. We'll see what they decide. Just nice to see how good they are together and how happy. Hope you are doing well, Reader .. xxoo

People are the worst. We offer a really good chat bot, but rather than use it, people rather wait to chat with us and ask if we are human. I swear, chimps use tools more effectively. Sigh.

Hope you all are well. It's mercifully cool today and tonight. We went out for dinner with our nephew Peter and his boyfriend. We had a nice time along with mussels, fish and shrimp ... we stuffed down lots of good food. This is the second dinner we've gone out for since lockdown started. Wow, hard to believe. It was nice though.
