Just finished.. after yesterday's fiasco at work.. systems down, had to log off a million times. today was good, smooth. How's yours?

It's sad. i am rather torn about these things.. because you got to have your mother for as long as you have, but still i feel badly that this is how it ends for her.

LOL.. Michael could easily eat two pounds .. here you're lucky if you can buy it in pounds.. or 454 grams. Normally now they sell it in 375 gram packages for like $6.99. The odd time it will be on sale for $2.99. Then we'll buy some, sometimes. But $6.99 for what essentially is fat, it's just not worth it. i know how to cook it ... cooking is something i have down ... i have a diabetic Husband and my own health to worry about, having HIV means i have to watch what i eat as well. A bit of bacon is okay, but i use it as more of a flavouring when we do choose to buy some.

Personally don't get the fascination with bacon of any sort. It's okay, i enjoy it when we decide to have it, but ... i can certainly live without it.

They are trying to figure out why He has dizzy spells and He needs it done for His 3 month check for the diabetes as well. Lord, He just texted me: The lab is packed, lined up out the door and down the hall. Good grief.

Thanks. The lab is just up the street, not far. So He won't be gone for long. i'm glad you like it. It's turning into a rather special place.

Good morning. Michael is off in a bit for some blood work. i am working on some poems and having coffee. Then i will prepare His breakfast because He had to fast and will be hungry and need His meds. Later i hope to work more on Wild Maple Farm....
