It will be awhile, but we've written a little and it's gonna be special.

yeah we both love it ... i've never even thought of baking oatmeal.. other than in cookies.

This will not be silverwolf or trainwreck ... not even close.

Yeah, i do see. Brilliant!! We get on very well and hopefully this will be as special as it looks.

Well, no, the pair of us are mad together, but no, this will not be a crazy story like Trainwreck is.

We have blankets and the fake fire... and that.. that is wonderful!!!

Yeah... More like how i had originally envisioned the DiC to be... but lol, it turned into a chat room... which is cool. It takes the place of my forum and the DiC.

i hope the flavour in those developed a bit overnight.

The Signature and Classic authors are getting these 'fan clubs' and they asked if the DiC could be moved here.. so i said sounds like a plan. Topics can be posted ... I have a feeling @Wayne Gray and i may have something to say in one, in the near future.

Well .. we have been moved to our new home ... Surprise ... no idea they were doing it today.. but here we are.

It's from here ... it is just wonderful. I did not have apricots so threw in what was on hand.. sliced almond, pumpkin seeds, dry cranberries and raisins.. had no ginger so just put in the cinnamon. We use brown sugar splenda, but i did put in 1/4c of maple syrup rather than honey. The texture was soft and chewy. We both love baked bread pudding, but cannot eat it, this is a perfect substitute. We both loved it. Baked oatmeal.

My house smells sweet, buttery and rich.. made baked oatmeal this morning ... Needed to use up the cream from yesterday's ganache.

Yeah ... luckily on the radio, there were women saying ... i'm happy with go out and share a pizza, or do something together.. not all people are like that

Well, i hope most of you got through the commercial horror that is Valentine's Day without too many scars or emotional damage. i only needed a trip to the shrink and valium. In the afternoon, Michael sent me to the kitchen to do stuff. He knows that if i'm in there, i'm busy and my mind is not dwelling on well ... my mother and my past. i ended up making a pot of soup and a double batch of curry and a sweet treat for us. So that's some lunches, and a couple of dinners done. I remember when i was a kid, Valentine's Day was some little cards and making something for your mom. Not spending your savings to keep her happy or your partner happy, as an adult. Now, it sounds like a day where you better had, where you better prove with all your savings, how much you love them. It used to be a sweet kind of day, but now for many it is another day of greed, or a reminder of what you do not have. i don't need proof or gifts ... my Husband is my gift, and i don't need a huge expensive show from Him. He shows me everyday what is in His heart. He gave me a card and i made us a brownie. As it should be.

Yeah, often they do take days. I like to leave them usually after i write them .. cuz things still happen in my head. I'll change it, move things, change things around. My poems for the anthology have been written for a month .. i finally decided they can go to AC today.
