    Dad

When you first shared this with me, i wanted to encourage you to post it. I thought better of it knowing you'd do so when it was okay. Fathers have a such huge impact on us ... they can hurt us like no other. Many of us spend a lifetime, even after they are gone, trying to earn their love. Thank you, Wayne xoxo
  5. 1. How many times will my heart break before it’s irreparable? I cannot count the tears I’ve shed over you You’re like our child I know you hurt I know that’s why you hurt me, over and over And it’s why I let you Because you don’t mean to Because you need someone to hear you And I do I hear you My heart and door are always open You do not have to be alone 2. Hearts are broken by soul destr
  6. Troy needs to learn how to find food on the street, or at shelters and soup kitchens. i can give him some lessons... i hope he doesnt regret how he treated Mr. B. Looking forward to more of your work.

    From the Ashes

Too many memories here but written in your wonderful warm style. Troy's pain reminds me of a guy who never properly washed his backside because 'touching there means you're gay'. The mind boggles.

    Drama!

it's funny .. we write so differently, so differently. i am slow .. like a bee... slowly going from place to place and you are a hummingbird.. so much, so fast, everything coming to you so quickly. It was amazing really. But it worked somehow. it didnt drive me crazy ... it all made sense and it worked and that's what matters... the end product.

    Drama!

i didn't find them too hard because they were simply a different story that needed writing even though it was in present tense. Keeping track of it all was hard ... we talked on Hangouts or in Docs chat and we'd have ideas for things that couldn't happen for one to two chapters. So Wayne wrote lots of notes of things we wanted to include where and when. Sometimes whole scenes were written and stored away for future reference. And like Wayne said, weaving them in after could be a challenge. There is so much to do when you write properly... after the story is done. Self-edit, send to your editors and beta readers. Look for words we all overuse, find them and replace them. Read it and ruthlessly cut out parts that don't work, words you don't need. Then putting it away for a bit, not reading it. So it matures, ages well. So when you look at it, it is with fresh eyes. It's been written for awhile ... but we wanted to wait to make sure it was right. Wayne is the first person i've written with, other than some poetry with MacGreg. Trainwreck was a great challenge and lots of fun.
  16. A very simple low carb way to cook skinless chicken breast: i use 1/2 fat mayo .. about 1/2 a tablespoon for each breast. Salt and pepper to taste, then smear the mayo on all over the breast (using your hands is easier). Put the chicken on a parchment lined baking dish or sheet and bake at 350f for around 20 to 30 minutes. Check with a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the largest breast, unless you are experienced enough to feel it is done by touch. Just before it's done ... grate some fresh Parmesan cheese on top and let it melt. Nice and easy. Serve with salad and your fav pasta.
  17. As i step back more and more from the world, the more my eyes are opened. i wish others wouldn't wait in order to see that each of us, is human and deserving of a decent life and love. Thank you for this Wayne.
