    I tend to write poetry based on what I see and do. It helps me remember a feeling, immortalize an event, or cope with the indescribable. That is what poets do ... how they relate their worlds to others xo

    i understand Troy's pride even while in the worst of situations. When you've lost everything, that's all you have left, your last scrap of pride, and dignity. And it feels like Grant doesn't get it.     You putting this out there but not saying much. Given how people often treat others online, sometimes, i can't say i blame you. Life is hard for some of us, more than others. Sometimes writing things in public is not the best thing to do for yourself. It lets go the wolves of this world who rejoice in other's pain. Be careful for yourself. Be careful who you trust, for many will use your failings against you. We all mess up sometimes. It's okay, it's life, how it is. There is not one single person out there who has not. Don't look behind you, except to learn from mistakes and try not to repeat them. Be kind to yourself and others, it will come back to you.
