i am frustrated with Jeremy. Does he have AIDS? No! Where is he with his treatment? Is he undetectable? If so, why is he so f'g worried or believing he can't be in a relationship? My doctor TOLD me my status. i am undetectable but I tell partners they need to use a condom. My husband chooses not to and takes Prep. If things were different, Michael would wear a condom but he'd still love me, still want to be with me. That said, Clay and Greg are sweet and it will be nice once they are together permanently. Nice chapter, Mr. Gray.

This work suffers today because writing styles have changed since this was written. Written in first person, it is a lot of telling, rather than usual showing we look for today. But it is well done, taking that into consideration.

Wayne, your prompts inspired me to write the first of the Delicious stories (there are now eleven), The Promise and 16 or so other short prompt response pieces. They work. I find them very useful and fun to use. I appreciate them and look forward to reading them every week! Thank you!

When i was promoted to Promising Author Cole said to me, " Not everyone can tell our story. Lots of people are depending on us to express the experience we are all living. Your truth isn’t a singular experience. It’s part of what many of us feel." He tells us one such truth, one such story here. Beautiful, honest, it touched me .. and my soul begged for the happily ever after i wanted, but instead Cole gives us reality. I am glad today, often things can be different for us. Do not miss this well crafted, wonderful piece.

Well written, and interesting. Coping with death of family or friends isn't easy, neither is writing about it. However, here it is done with a gentle, honest touch and grace.

Good story. An interesting idea. As it was a teacher reviewing his journals, it could have been laid out that way, it would have been an easier read. But i think teachers would wonder about some of their students, just as i think we all do about certain people we met, or went to school with. It was a bit difficult to read and sad. I think adding the odd positive would have made it a more realistic journal. But it does follow the theme ... Scars.

Interesting story. I am not a huge fan of shifter stories, but this one was kind of different. Bill is a 'fixer'. Why they have them wasn't made clear in this story, but i find that idea to be a good one. Certainly different. I'm left with questions but certainly this was worth reading.

Very sweet story of family and that family history is important ... or should be. We often wonder why we are here; family is the only real reason i can think of. This is a story about that and of tradition. Worthwhile reading.

Thank you, AC. For reading it all, and for your vision for this piece. You helped me make it as good as it is. I've said before this chapter sat for a couple of years maybe longer. I didn't know at the time this story was in there ... but here it is. Thank you for everything ... xoxox kisses 💖💖

No, it's something i live with ... there are people a lot worse off than me. People struggling with cancer and things like that. I'm pretty lucky.

i'm glad you're doing okay. i remember very early on sitting in the waiting room ... and two other guys in there talking about what they were on ... and what drugs their friends were taking/trying. i said to myself then and to Michael, i do not want to do that. i do not care what they give me ... i don't want to know. Michael looks after all of that.

It's such a racket.. need a note to return to work... doctor gets $50 for the visit plus another $20 for the note. Not bad for doing nothing except signing a piece of paper. My after surgey papers cost me $150 ... he put 3 check marks and his signature, oh plus the $50 for the appointment.

he did say it in an earlier PM ...
