I feel much about this. Sadness for your pain most of all. Do not doubt Your place in this Life, Sir.
Do not let him take that.
i love You Sir. I respect who and what You are. Many here feel the same.
Hugs for you both. i know too well that feeling about the rejection by family. But you know didn't expect much else. i hoped right up until my father asked to see me and on his death bed damned me once again. You have chosen your family ... here online and the man you will marry. And some others who accept you like their own son.. the rest ... well. Michael reminded me of this from the bible the other day:
Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.
If it were true.. some would be in for a nasty surprise.
Wonderful poems.. thanks for sharing both them and your pain and more.. your joy. Love You, my friend. xo
Yeah, i posted one in 2017.... a fairy tale: Miss Silver Pretty Pink Toes... people seemed to like it.
Dolphin Delivery is a sweet story of two cool dads and their little girl. Check it out!
Thank you, Wayne. It is those things. As a submissive i am silent normally, or quiet. Sometimes however, things need saying. love is shown in deeds and desire to serve. i hope this poem does show that.
I started to write this ... the first line, it was nine syllables and i thought of you ... saying make it 10, make it blank verse.
Mostly except for the odd adjustment for syllables, it is as it was written.
Thank you for the prompts, and advice along the way. Thank you for everything you noted and said about my writing. You are generous with your knowledge and time. i am grateful. xoxo
