    Loss and Hope

Nothing wrong with some happy.. if the story is right... here it's not... i've write only happy sometimes.. when the story is right for it. Often those stories are comedic.

    Loss and Hope

NO Wayne! Not a downer .. you're wrong. At least for me you are ... i read to know the story, the experience. The good, bad, ugly and beautiful. And the painful and sorrowful. For me stories need to be real .. and this is. And you have brought it to us. Well written, with empathy and love. And the other characters as well, all them are wonderful and i repeat, you wove this beautifully.

    Prelude

i agree with Michael, Kent and Stanley sound real. While we never really had this discussion, Michael and i talk daily. Honesty is the only way to properly live as we do. For many reasons it took me a lot of years to trust Michael, though i was and am His collared sub. i can say that now that i do trust Him completely, things are so much better than they were. i am freer, and happier and most especially i am unafraid. Kent and Stanley will get to where we are, if they continue to have open and honest discussion about themselves and what works and what doesn't. Super chapter, Wayne xo
  6. Each is wonderful, Parker. July the Fourth made me grin.
  7. i dont think you should have titled this bad poetry, it is good if it helps ease your soul, it is good if it helps share your loss. i am sorry for your pain.
  8. Maybe i should.. i've written a few short stories .. but maybe something longer eh? Thanks very much, Jeffrey. xo
  9. You did go big, rick.. and i'm really happy for you. i'm glad we could be there for you when you needed us. xoxo
  10. Thanks very much Parker. Thanks Reader... xo I put your comments together because basically they mention the same things. I truly believe to save this planet, there needs to be a major shift in how we think, use things and about money. I think we need.. all of us, businesses and everyone, need to become more concerned about the world and each other than for the endless search for wealth and monetary growth. People, need to find worth in things other than cash, the next smartphone and what is being said on twitter. We need to become a community .. before it's too late.
  11. Hey, A ... thanks very much. Yeah, the first one was supposed to be a journey.. but it wasn't blank verse, but it was an okay poem. In the second one i sort of felt the hugeness of space ... and well really for all we really know we could be alone ... so who will fix this mess if we don't? Thanks for your excellent comments.. i appreciate them very much.
  12. Thanks molly. i mostly put them because i know you like to read them. i hope others do too. Thanks for your support and comments xoxo

  15. Poetry Prompt 7 Blank Verse The Prompt: imagine you are free-floating in space, in orbit around the Earth. Don’t worry about a spacecraft or spacesuit – you are just able to orbit the earth – describe what you see, feel, think and expect to happen. Make it at least 10 lines, but remember, the more practice the better. Try to make it as long as you can. So with those instructions i went to off to write. The following is an okay poem, but it is not blank verse. I tried abo
  16. That sounds great.. i liked it a lot!
  17. I became a member to tell an author i enjoyed his work. We became friends and he encouraged me to post my first poems. What kept me here? The generous and kind people who pulled me into their circle. They read my work and i read theirs and others. Their acceptance pulled me out of my shell. @Cia helped me while i messed up posting things, with humour and kindness. So did many other staff members. They are a wonderful giving bunch of people. But Cia is also right when she says you get out what you put in. I read a lot.. commented a lot. Supported people's efforts. I put in the time and effort and i met my wonderful editor and other wonderful writers and poets. GA is my home away from home. I love it here. There is something here for everyone. You just need to look. And Read.. and Comment and Like .. because only those things encourage authors to keep writing.

I'm not sure why you think you cannot write free verse. Said it before, they are among your better work. There is feeling in them, life and most especially...you.
  19. I love you too. And A is right. You dont need to ride the mustang...just walk along side of him for now. Get back on when he is calmer. xoxo

thank You, Sir. i find being out among trees especially, very emotional and moving. i've never really left the city much . but i like trees very much. So it's easy to find that emotional place when i write about nature or being in it. That's why i think it was so easy to write The Promise ... Thanks very much for Your comments, Sir. xo
