Wonderful poem, Wolfie. Can picture it all .. in the wonderful shades of gray.
  2. it is a wonderful thing and i agree. i use a combination of machine and hand. There is nothing quite like making bread, is there? i think it's the most satisfying thing, as you say.
  3. Okay there is that. (but i really dont believe it)
  4. ... some people for physical reasons can't knead dough by hand... so the machine is a great help and lets them have the joy of baking bread too.
  5. i likely dont need to say this.. but ask your doc first.
  6. A total fav of mine ... thanks for posting this. I love it!

Wonderful poems. Cicadas are ugly and i am tired of finding them at the bottom of the staircase in the morning. ugh 💖

  10. I bought trial packs ... and started with a very low amount.
  11. Yes, Sir .. i remember You relating some of Yours ... a horror show some of them. I had one very weird one. But mostly i don't remember my dreams.
  12. Didn't mean the services.. i meant the book. Most are written poorly, are dull.. and frankly crap.
  13. It is a product of the USA .. but i buy it here: https://naturalcalm.ca/faqs/ Lots of info about it .. molly uses it too and gets it at her grocery store, i think.
  14. Might be one of the very few self-published things worth paying for. Most of them are ... not.
  15. Why not if he wants to do that.
  16. it works for lots of people i know. seems a lot of us don't get enough of it.
  17. Yeah they are ... my meds are right ... the Calm helps, still see the doc ... but slides into depression are not as fast, don't last as long.. it's better.
  18. I remember talking to the shrink about the 'woe is me thing'. He said it's okay for a few hours or a day, sometimes we need to mourn our health. He said but then get off your butt and do something. Make Michael something he likes, or bake something. Write something. Go outside and get into nature. Help someone else when you can. It doesn't happen so often now ... well since i started taking Natural Calm. It's a magnesium supplement and it has made huge changes for me. I'm more positive most of the time, i can sleep, i rarely think about dying (that was a constant thought since i was 15, throughout the day.. when i was sober enough to think, until about a year ago when i started taking the Calm) ... things don't bother me as much, likely because i get enough sleep now.
  19. i think @Carlos Hazday writing some different things, like a kids story or two is great. It's good for you to do other things, different things. Stretch your creative self.
  20. Your mum is priceless herself. i hope she's well. today my struggle is humidity ... and scarred lungs ... so my physical issues play with my self-worth as well .. i will miss work again and i hate it.
  21. it's a nice place ... not good for long stories for some reason ... but for things like this.. it would be good.
  22. Read it, it's a nice story ... for kids but still ... most of us know some kids
  23. maybe a different site for your Dolphin story .. like writing.com ... very family oriented, straight and gay population there.
  24. yes, dugh. i struggle with my worth ... often. close friends and Husband will attest to that.
