Maybe not everyone's fav but deserving of a 'day'.

That was my lunch. A donut and a bunch of fresh raspberries.

One of these little miracles landed on my plate today ... i managed to make it disappear.

So, today is William Butler Yeats' birthday.. Mmm, not me, though I enjoyed reading and working through exercises in On Writing. I've been writing for many years before reading that. I do agree with the second question and answer and i read a lot of horror myself and would seriously love to write it but.... And the egg thing...poached for me with my homemade bread. So, thanks for considering me, but it's not me. 👻

It's a bit better this morning, but they still rate the air quality as poor. I hope they get some rain in the north and northern prairies to help with these awful fires. Fingers crossed. xox

Maybe.. you never know. It does feel cooler here this morning. I'm going out for a walk and maybe a haircut if they are not too busy today. If they are busy i'll make an appointment. Sasha is the best and i've made his blueberry pie bars twice now... The Men love them and i like them too. Anyway.. have a lovely Sunday yourself.. xoxxo

Aw, i like that. i haven't had a donut since December 8, 2024. On that day we were going to a Christmas party and bought a box of timbits to share while on the road. They were very nice. LOL

omg.. no. if you really want a KK, then get one and cut it in half, make a nice cup of coffee or tea, whatever you like best, sit down and eat it. Give the other half to your other half. Have what you want, but in smaller amounts. When Michael found out he was diabetic , he said. I can eat everything, in smaller amounts, or none of it. Something is better than nothing. I've found ways to make things my Husband with a sweet tooth can have. It's worth the effort to make your own stuff.

mmm, only by uber or other food delivery place. Timmies is not so good any more but their sour cream donut still is. Tim bits are if you get them fresh. I wouldn't order them.

Soz. i have a giant one here who would eat a donut, but we don't bring them home. Dan and i go out while Michael is at work if we're going to eat them. i don't eat them or other 'bad' stuff when we're home. Plus, i can't eat all of those things very much either. i have to be careful with sodium, potassium and phosphorous... no processed meats.. so no ham, pepperoni, cold cuts... not much dairy, spinach or chard.. so many things to be careful of. No brown rice or whole wheat bread... but i love whole wheat bread so have one slice of that a day. Michael, of course, is diabetic too, and Danny watches his figure (i watch it too but try not to be obvious ) and i have CKD, so it's fun cooking stuff around here. LOL. Mostly it's only homemade things. Sometimes we have a pizza. I try to eat a plant-based diet, which i love, so that makes it easier. The Men have become lovers of arugula, and feta cheese with homemade lime dressing salads, with red lentil kofta. Yummy. I do not eat meat at lunch, only plant based. So, please have a little donut, or share a donut. We do that a lot ... having a bite of something rather than a whole one. Mini muffins and cupcakes rather than full sized. Making Sasha's blueberry bars ... those are so good. oops.. this turned into a long ramble.. i'll stop now. LOL
