It's hard because you can't just turn the page to keep reading. Matt's story has six chapters left. I hope you enjoy the rest.

@kbois is the editor and has verified, but what's on the page is my decision, right or wrong. @Reader1810, the beta reader, had a few questions. This story was written a couple of years ago, and Reader verified a couple of things I had researched at that time but had changed since the story was finished. So, this was doubly verified.

That weird error has been fixed. Thanks. Since Chapter 1, Matt has encountered many people. Maeve and Andy, while they save him, are just more people to him right now—people he thanked and moved on from. They have no power over him. They have to let him go. However, Matt is reminded of the often, he's got Andy's Credit card and thinks about them when eating his first Turkish food. He may not have noticed he was doing it, but they are in his thoughts. Matt is strong. You can be scared, broken and alone and still be strong, because the alternative isn't what you want. He's used to surviving, and that doesn't stop now. Thank you for following this story.

All Matt wanted was Ahmet, and now that's gone. Now, Matt has to deal with the rest. No, knowing how Andy deals with confrontation, i.e. Tony, he probably hasn't spoken to his parents yet. We haven't met Matt's mother. Matt does and doesn't want to see her. He's said that throughout the story. He may decide to go home. We'll have to wait and see. What would Matt say? He likes Maeve, but she is a stranger to him. Why would he spill his hopes and dreams with people he doesn't know? Maeve likely understood this and knows Matt is not hers, and it's not really her place to say anything about his life or how he handles things. He didn't ask for her opinion, and she didn't give one. Abused people may look and act okay, but we're not. We also don't like to hand over our hopes and dreams to people we don't know. Why? Because we don't know them or trust them. I'm happy to know you're invested in this story. Matt is now moving forward and considering his next steps. I hope you enjoy the rest of his journey.

Interesting. What important conversations do you think there would have been? Matthew wanted to leave. What would have been said? If it were me, I'd have thanked them, promised to keep in touch, thanked Andy for the money and moved on. Matt didn't ask for any of this. He may seem okay, but is he? Matt didn't meet Andy's parents; why would he unless he planned on staying there with Andrew and Maeve. Matt wanted to travel to find Ahmet. That's all that was in his mind at the time for the most part. What was there to talk about?
