I always read the chapters at least twice: 1. just to see, what they were up to. 2. the second time I read it's slower, because I don't worry anymore (so much), and with attention to details It's very cunning how you brought up the elephant/Theo/body pillow in the room. Thank you for the new chapter. Reading it was more like watching a movie, your characters are so alive. Zane and Jett are on Jay's level, playing cards and studying his pokerface, I was laughing so hard. And April's friends trying to help so he doesn't end like a stay-at-home-mum. And poor confused Dan taking notes. This chapter is so full of information, I have to read it twice or more. And just for fun:

April’s dad was pretty thorough, and he didn’t miss a thing." Of course Sid was thorough, and Jett, "the one task man" of course listened carefully. This is just a little example of the the little things that I like so much about your writing, you describe your characters so good through pictures like this. I think, Jett is a pragmatic , it was better to listen to the lecture than to educate himself on the internet. (And we all know what we get on google, if we search for something specific. Once I was searching for "naked cats", looking for the Sphynx… And I got more than an eyeful... not related to the story, sorry

Somehow I think Sid will keep the cat in the bag, telling Jett not to break Theo's heart again would be breaking a promise he gave to his son. I can't imagine him doing this. But, on the other hand, we are talking about Laura here, she is not above writing some evil twists in here. But, of course you could be right, Sid already mentioned the hair-dyeing thing… soooo, I guess we will have to wait till Sunday ,, PS Oh my, I just noted that my profile picture and the gif are pretty much the same person. Sid is great, he is like a friend that helps you no matter what, no questions asked, at least not to many. But he is still a father who want's to protect his little Theo. He probably has to have a close relationship with April if he knows about "THE Jett". I have to say I like Jett more and more, his reasoning is very straightforward and simple: 1 + 1 = 2, I live here + you live here = boyfriends. His logic is impeccable. Must be the unobstructed view he gets thanks to his man-bun. Your writing is just great, your dialogues made me feel like I was there. Waiting patiently for the next chapter...

Thank you for your poem. It amazes me how no matter the subject you manage to capture your feelings and thoughts in this beautiful manner. And for sure, we can not outrun anything, nobody gets here out alive. I have a problem only one person knows about. I have a drivers licence but I don't drive out of fear I could kill somebody by accident. I don't want to be an instrument of death. Not in this way. As a cyclist and pedestrian I often feel more like prey on the streets... Jett should really improve his flirting skills, he's like a Neanderthal making a move on a delicate flower. He's lucky, April has not much to compare to in that department and is in looove… They both are. I'm a bit worried what happens when Jett's father comes home, I guess he could be in prison or something like that. And what happens when Jay mom comes out of prison, if that's the one, who is his mother, how will this new family unit function. And then the Z-brothers… I wish, Jett would tell April about the danger he's in, but that would take a lot of fun form the story… Thank you for sharing and making us laugh and love your characters. I suspect Jett's Idea of potty-training will look something like this I

Jett is so protective and soooo in love, smelling Aprils hair & stuff… So cute 😍 I like it, how you flesh out your characters, I know guys just like Jett, one job men, they do what has to be done, they do it good (enough) but please no multitasking. BTW, is his hair long enough for a braid? And now the everyday stuff, Jett will learn soon enough how to change diapers:
