Lovely, they both think, they have upper hand. This really is perfect. I heard a saying once, that a business deal is good if none of the parties has a feeling being screwed over. Thank you for sharing this beautiful and painful story about true love and letting go, which is probably the hardest part. Every fiber in your body screams no, but you love somebody so much that you are able to do it. Your writing is so good, I read everything at least twice, the first time I read just for content and the feeling it transports. I just let the writing kind of wash over me and let it work. Well, the story (you) made me cry...

What a great chapter! I loved Carter and Taz as amateurish sleuths 🤭... and how Carter couldn't do it with Taz watching. Probably everybody who has pets has these thoughts, I for my part couldn't 'do it' when our cat was 'watching'. And they DO watch. And judge... You wrote this part exceptionally well. And other parts too, sorry. Apropos sorry, I feel bad for Aron, I can't imagine, how confused he must be. Let's not forget, Carter, the changed one, had a lot of time to adjust and come to terms with his love to Aron, for Aron this must be so sudden. And poor boy is so in love with Carter, he just takes what he can and, what Carter is willing to give (which is way more than Aron thinks 🤭) even it's only fuckbuddies. Thanks for the great chapter!🖖 -

Blink, blink... I can see the little wheels in Donovan's brain turning like wild and processing what he just heard. But it would be actually good for them, to focus on other stuff without distraction. You are really nice to your characters, giving everybody something: looking forward to what you have up your sleeve for the poor confused I'm-not gay-Drew, and giving Mickey and Sammy some nice moments. Great chapter, as always.
