That's a great analogy, Will. It would be the same for any two warring parties. Can a common ground be found, will people work together to build something new, will there be others to try and tear it down just for the sake of hatred.

Thanks, Mike. I think in this chapter, Levi took the snake. If he wanted to be alpha, he could have stepped forward when Dorian called for people to step forward.

The first of couple months were rough for Dorian. He tried his best to fill the role of the man he had so admired. There were plenty of missteps during his break-in period. He had to contend with people who sought his favor in their business dealings. It was part of the job, so he did his best to tolerate it. Thank you, Mike. Levi was excited for his friend. He also just watched his buddy navigate a death fight and come out the victor and was named beta of the pack. All of that could knock someone for a loop. And the two have had differences in view for years. As you said, time will tell.
