Only if it's been cut off with skin attached (scalped), or pulled out by the roots. If he's just cut some hair off, with no roots, there won't be DNA.

Half or more of these Fleetwood Mac songs you're weaving into the sentences aren't her songs🙂. I recognise several as composed and sung by Christine McVie. Or her lover/enemy Lindsey B. Only fair, when Christine's death was announced on the radio, the DJ played a FM song but chose Dreams. Even in death she got overshadowed by Stevie.

I'm curious, why did you change Shane to Tony? I thought something had changed, went to your site (it was the 1st story I'd read there), no, it's Tony there. Went to Nifty, & it's still Shane.

Having read this years ago, I'm enjoying the speculation.

Surely Turkish wrestling, the one where men in leather lube themselves up with olive oil to make themselves slippery. Grabbing genitals or rectum (the only easy things to hold ☺️) is against the rules.

Christoph's about 38-40 then, Lukas early 20s, Severin about 58-60.

Jeremy, Jack, and the Mob
Paqman commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Jeremy, Jack, and the Mob
“He basically has a major crush on you,” I said. “So I should call him up and fuck him?” he joked, but I wasn’t there. “I’d rather you didn’t,” I said sadly. “You’re going to tell me who I can be with now?” he asked me. He was acting pretty strangely about this, so I resolved to be patient. “I said I’d rather you didn’t, not that you couldn’t,” I said coolly. He rolled his eyes at me. “If you do that, you will really hurt me, and you will flame my insecurities.” Will, you could have mentioned it would be cruel to Finn, possibly making someone with a crush develop stronger unrequited feelings. -
Pre great stink, I'm not sure there were any sewers. Some of the minor rivers (the Fleet for example) were used as sewers, but the Tyburn, the small river near Green Park, was used for drinking water.

I doubt it'll be anything violent, they'll just send over a male voice choir, split into groups and send you mad with non stop singing.

on the Welsh countryside somewhere in the middle of England the You like living dangerously, any Welsh readers will not be happy.🙂 Wales is not in England.

Why am I reminded of the last episode of Yes Minister? Or is it the first episode of Yes Prime Minister? Only it was Sir Humphrey and Sir Arnold. Jim Hacker says the lines about how long they'd last.

Hey, we only boil old chickens. Too tough to roast. Not that I ever have, we can't buy them even if we wanted to, no shops sell them.

Not without a plug in card of some sort, so unless Travis had one a laptop wouldn't connect without an unsecured wifi connection.

No, as far as I know his only crime story is Mardi Gras murders. Not a Thompsonville tale, it's mostly in Sydney.

Because I couldn't wait I popped over to your site. On that one, in chapter 38 the twin boys are 5, and Chrissy is 3. Differs with this chapter of Ben and Sam having 1 when he left and the twins three years ago.

You'll be searching a long time for Thompsonville, only Port Macquarie exists. Looking at a map, I think Lake Cathie is where Thompsonville would be. Unless I'm looking in the wrong direction, if north of town there's just beach and trees for miles. When I first read them I'm sure it was on his own site, I'm not sure how I found it.
-
I think the last line of the chapter suggests Daventry suspects. He didn't say Granger was upset to leave her in Russia.

He seems more of a telepath than an empath if he can read memories rather than just the emotion.

Don't forget the lyrics may have been written a few days earlier. Bernie wrote the lyrics, often in a different town, then mailed or later faxed them to Elton, who would read them and do the music.
-
I read it & all the rest years ago, but I'm sure they were all on Mark's own site. Mardi Gras murders was the 1st I read, not part of the Thompsonville Universe.

More Problems Down the Road
Paqman commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in More Problems Down the Road
I may have met Dave Edmunds when I was a teenager. He used to drink in the same pub my dad used to go to and apparently came back to our house sometimes, but I may have been asleep by then. Met a few people who came back, but didn't know their names. -
Chapter 1 - This Can’t Be Real
Paqman commented on Bndmetl's story chapter in Chapter 1 - This Can’t Be Real
No, he superglued the handset to the base unit, when he answered it he hit himself in the head with the base unit. -
Having a quick re read, I noticed the registration number has changed between chapters. When he stopped the car it was KV63ART, when he asked who's it was in this chapter it was KV24ART.

Ben Aaronovitch has a popular series of books about a little known small dept in the Met (London) police for people with powers (magic in that case) battling strange and occult events. This is at a similar level of professionalism, with a similar tone (mix of humour etc.),the only thing I can think of that would stop a series possibly selling would be (gay) sex scenes. Limits the marketplace. BA's series has the (rather inept, he's learning) hero dating a goddess instead. It also embellishes on real places & history, eg. the piggeries of Notting Hill.
